Pleasant and relaxing location with some protection from southerly winds and within easy walking distance to the beach. Probably a good place to bring younger children, but remember the Mozzie repellent as the sand flies were remorseless on my visit.

Nice sandy bank with the Merriman river joining the 90 mile beach. Not a real boat ramp but since its sandy and nearly sloping gently in to water can launch small boats here. Can do canoeing or just paddle in the river. Lots of algae in the water as well. Nice place for kids and adults alike.
