George Jones Eatery

It’s been a long time since I’ve dined in at George Jones but I get my morning coffee and occasionally a croissant from them and it’s always great. Just wanted to say thank you! It’s a real treat having my coffee made for me 😊 (and as an aside, their smalls are 6oz t/a cups which in my opinion is the perfect pour!)

Just got the almond croissant and cappuccino. Croissant is definitely one of the best. Has great fluff and also stuffing.

First time at this place and it was just amazing the food,service was amazing. The staff gave us a seat and took our order very quick. I am a big coffee lover lol and this was done very nice, I will be going back again very soon.

What a great place to break my fasting… portions are so good , I actually ordered extra kids meal as normally same meal in other restaurants will not be filling for an adult. But was so FULL after finishing my plate. Great guys serving at the restaurant too.

Love this place. Sticky pork Thai salad is a must. Caramelized pork that melts in your mouth. I go back for this dish, bit salty and can do with some sweetness to balance. But am nitpicking there. Other dishes also yum. Calamari and prawn Thai salad also a winner. Good coffee. What more can one ask.

This place always seems popular, it's coffees are great and the food is pretty good. The service is a bit hit and miss depending on how busy the eatery is. The decor is nice and chic but with a wooden earthy feel.

I had the calamari, the best! It was perfectly cooked, and the flavour was perfect. The service is so friendly, and the atmosphere is great! Highly recommend! Also best coffee!

New to the area. I had the eggs bennie with salmon, and my partner had the beef brisket tacos. 10 out of 10 food and service. Would recommend and will be back to taste the entire menu!

This is place is my go to for brunch and coffee. I love the vibe in this cafe, it is buzzing but not overcrowded, (although weekends make sure to book as it does get quite busy). The layout of the cafe is great with a mixture of booths and tables, perfect for groups or for that solo, I need time on my own visit!!! The menu is quite extensive and caters for all palates. Having said this I barely ever make it past the sweet potatoes and quinoa fritters - they are so good!! The plating is beautiful, the ingredients fresh and the taste delicious!! Coffee here is good too. I recently tried one of their combo juices of ginger, apple, celery, orange and lemon - I think I will make this my summer cafe treat.

They have been my favorit place to go in the neighborhood since they opened. First, their cheeseburger is one of the best in Melbourne.. you should definitely give it a go. The breakfast menu is really good, I almost tried all of it and was happy except maybe for the pancakes. . they were OK but too sugary for me and the cream on top could be of a better quality giving the price tag. The coffee is good sometimes excellent depends on the barista and the blend. Overall, it's a must go and hope it stays in the area .. too bad they are closing early now..the menu also may needs some updates.

Awesome breakfast venue! The ambiance is pleasant, not too loud even when full, and there's a nice mix of seating; some large round tables and my favourite, the cosy booth seating. I have really enjoyed their house-made granola in the past but since the menu has changed, I gave the breakfast salad a try. It was delicious!! Filled with asparagus, pumpkin and broccolini with avocado and a perfectly poached egg, it was filling and very tasty. My soy cappuccino was perfect too. Service is always quick and friendly and very welcoming. A gem of a cafe for Pascoe Vale, highly recommended!

I have been coming here for years. I live locally. I don't know why there are so many negative comments about wait time and customer service...This place is far from bad I love the food and the coffee and the customer service, so to everyone reading this review I can vouch for this place. 😀

Friends and I had a catch-up at George Jones Eatery today. The place is well set out including booths. Comfortable atmosphere and relaxing too. Food is delicious and presented with care. The staff are friendly and do a great job providing service.
We’ve planned another catch-up later in the year and look forward to coming back.

We got really good coffees and freshly cooked breakfast meals. Really lovely place and cozy interior. Would definitly recommend 👍

Caught up with a friend for coffee before ISO and i really enjoyed the coffee. Lovely decor inside and the cafe is spacious
They do have quite a good variety on the menu, will need to be back to try their food
