Westpac Branch Camberwell

I wished to cancel a no longer needed investment account. After contacting Westpac via phone, I was (eventually) advised that I needed to visit my local branch. The branch I'd previously used had closed, so I did a search for my closest branch. The Camberwell branch came up and I noted that it had several very poor Google reviews. So I attended the Camberwell branch with some trepidation. No worries - on entry I was greeted in a very pleasant manner by a 'triage' lady, who quickly cancelled my account. I was most impressed, as I expected at minimum that I'd be referred to another service person (and a bleedin' queue). Well done Westpac and thanks to your very efficient Banking Triage Officer (BTO). You made my day!

Fantastic, friendly front of business service. Took time to listen, assist with a query as well as showing me how to use my mobile wallet app.

Helpful customer service

Just because 'you' ask people to sit down in a queue DOESN'T mean that there isn't a queue!!!.... Perhaps if the Teller was able to concentrate on BEING A TELLER instead of whatever else she was doing, whilst four clients waited!!
... YOU WOULDN'T NEED THE ILLUSION ON 'NOONE WAITING' in a queue... Nice people but VERY POOR SERVICE for billions in profit guys!!

Ordinary customer service. I happened to arrive just as the door opened so I was the only one waiting. I wanted to talk about investing, to let them know I'm heading overseas and for them to set me up a travel card. I was given an envelope with the travel cards and told to do the rest online. Just because it can be done online doesn't always mean it should be. What happened to looking after your customers and their requirements?

Not many staff for demand, had to wait ages to get 1000 bucks out because cardless only does 500

Abysmal service, always waiting to get directed to wait to be served. Always under staffed. Not sure why money was spent on aesthetics when service if terrible.

Worst bank ever. Online has gone down yet again. No service no money no more Westpac. If it’s not one thing it’s another. Totally useless.

The worst customer service not helpful at all made a big deal about withdrawing money, had to go to this branch after the bank of melbourne closure, where the staff where fantastic The manager of this westpac branch is a rude sullen person should learn manners and respect to customers, should not have a job

Avoid these two staff. Really hopeless.
