This Restaurant is a hidden neighbourhood gem, great Staff, incredible food and reasonable prices!! We booked this Restaurant, not knowing what to expect. When we arrived, there was only one other couple eating in the Restaurant. We had looked up the menu before arriving, but the Restaurant had recently updated the menu, so our picks weren't listed. We stayed and ordered something else instead. The steak was cooked perfectly and the calamari salad was a massive serving and tasted incredible! The staff were amazing and Aaron (my daughter asked the staff member his name, hopefully she got the name correct!), who looked after us for dinner, made the dinner much more memorable for my wife and two children. Thank you very much for dinner 😊

My friend and I visited here today NYD, thinking we would stop for a quick drink, that turned into dinner and hours of fun.. honesty this has a real family vibe, Frankie behind the the bar brings the party!! Honestly made the day, thanks for the beautiful food, laughs and all round good times 5 stars +*++* we love you guys .. awesome way to bring in the new year ❤

I had a great time Saturday night at Veludo to celebrate my birthday with all 4 of my kids there partners and friends we all enjoyed the food and the awesome variety of music . I found the staff to be lovely and helpful nothing was missed even being busy they managed to prepare my birthday cake well done Veludo.😁

Amazing live pianist/vocalist 🎵 We were visiting St Kilda and this place was by far the best place we visited, due to the music and atmosphere. We will be back.

The servers tonight (handsome gentleman and beautiful lady) were very attentive and genuinely accommodating. They asked twice we were enjoying the food. We ordered the specials for tonight, the chicken parma and steak and it was absolutely delicious. We will definitely come back 😃

Great meal last night. Lovely Irish waitresses and a great chef that came out and asked us how the meal was. Great touch! How refreshing and irregular. We loved our meal, the cosy atmosphere by tea light candle and the warm staff.

Can't fault the first meal we had out! The dude that served us was really quirky and it was great to have a laugh after a massive lockdown, food was good, and beers were cold, only think I will say is get that word "Schooner" off the menu! We're Melburnians 😂😂😂 thanks all awesome start to what I hopes many visits.

One of the greatest night outs. Food is great and the entertainment had us dancing the night away. Definitely recommended for groups of friends.

Myself, husband and 2 kids had dinner at Veludo lastnight. The food was lovely, the service from the 2 lady waitresses was perfect and the atmosphere was great. We will definitely return for another meal and suggest you give it a go. Thanks for a lovely evening.

Veludo's bar in St Kilda is a great mix of amazing food with a terrific upstairs bar. Stay late enough and you'll hear a great mix of contemporary beats from the DJs.

Amazing food in a chilled but classy atmosphere. The meat is too DIE for with focus that linger. Will be back!

Came here for the big fight and it was a great place. We didn't fancy a pub venue so ended up here, it was quite cozy and the atmosphere is lovely. Staff were all very friendly and the prices are really good.

The Nutella hot chocolate is to die for!

Great night club on ackland st.
Staff and good and the security are nice as well. Has a smoking area upstairs. Two dj rooms. Womens restrooms are big and spacious.
Considering how packed it gets on a weekend night, and how rowdy and rude the customers can be, these guys are killing it.
Patrons tend to be backpackers, or people in their 20s.
Bartending is hard especially at night clubs where the patrons can betrate you. So if it takes awhile to get a drink, glasses that need to be collected, or if they mess up your order. Remember that their people, are working for minimum wage, and are trying to make everyone have a great time while following RSA.

Super location top of acland street mall. Choice of street or interior seating. Interesting menu at fair price. Super staff. Happy hour rooftop. Good with kid. Great for people watching or read a book.

They had live music, nice vibes and awesome papas bravas! Excellent for a summer Sunday evening 👌🏽

Great to see that this place still exists. I worked here as a kitchen hand in 2004 for a couple of month. Delicious food and fun staff back at that time.Hope to be back one day for some dinner and drinks sometime.

Due to a communication error, veludo upstairs was booked at the same time as my event and I nearly had to cancel the event. Fortunately, Dominic and the lovely manager were very kind and gave us a private room to have our event in. A night that could've ended in a disaster was redeemed by management in a very professional and kind manner.
