What A Delight! Yes, yesterday's visit was absolute delight, and it left me craving more of their exceptional gelato. Among the plethora of flavours available, the Vegan Pistacchio stole the show for me - I simply couldn't get enough of its rich, creamy texture!

Piccolina's commitment to excellence shines through in every aspect of their operation. From their dedication to using fresh, seasonal ingredients sourced from local growers to their meticulous approach to crafting each flavour from scratch, it's evident that they prioritise quality and authenticity above all else. Their emphasis on tradition and history is palpable in every bite, as their gelato embodies the essence of Italian craftsmanship and culinary expertise.

Beyond the delectable gelato itself, the ambiance of Piccolina is inviting and charming, reflecting the care and attention to detail that defines their brand. It's clear that they view gelato not just as a dessert, but as an opportunity to create an experience - one that is considered, original, and delivered with integrity and creativity, as their ethos suggests.

Price is slightly on the expensive side but definitely worth every cent here. You can also taste test before you decide your flavours.

In conclusion, Piccolina exceeded my expectations in every regard. With their commitment to crafting exceptional gelato using traditional techniques and premium ingredients, paired with their warm hospitality, it's no wonder they've become a beloved destination for gelato aficionados. I can't wait to return and explore more of their enticing vegan flavours.

By far one of the best Gelateria’s not only in Melbourne, but in Victoria - the service was lovely, helpful, patient & knowledgeable. I had the vegan pistachio & nutella & they were both delectable - oozing with flavour, the texture was creamy & rich, you’d never know it was vegan - the nutella tasted just like a Ferrero roche, minus the nuts. My husband had salted caramel & white chocolate, also full of flavour, creamy & rich, the serving sizes were very generous. I wouldn’t waste my time trying any other ice cream shop on Acland St.

Loved all the flavours we tried. Have to say this is the best gelato I've had in Victoria. The Mascarpone blueberry cheesecake was my favourite, the zabaglione was sweet and refreshing and the stracciatella was pretty good too. Generous serves and good service

Delicious gelato from @piccolinagelateria: sometimes you just have to get the classic flavours like pistachio, but we also got that with a Nutella flavour 😛😛😛. Super super yummy 🤤🤤.

Family fave. gelato exactly like italy. perfection. fior di latte and choc sorbet a personal fave and the limited edition pav flavour, delicious.

One of my favourite places for ice cream, it’s always so creamy and delicious, and it’s true, their “better than Nutella” is better than Nutella. A wide variety to choose from, store staff were friendly and polite (even when it was close to closing time). Their scoops were also on par with their prices. Can’t wait to go back for more!

Very friendly staff lady who served us, would visit again just to have a conversation with her!

It's all here: Italian sodas, milkshakes, gelati and vegan sorbet :) oh and there are also some crazy-amazing cakes in the fridge!

Super delicious!!! So glad it's opened so close to the beach and Luna Park... And my house! Great range of flavours including my absolute favourite chocolate sorbet. They have an incredible looking cake cabinet as well which is next on my list to try. Wheelchair accessible with some seats outside. Definitely going again!!

Gosh, I want to take a spoonful of each ice cream and shove them in my face! That’s how much I love this place! Best ice cream, love the shop front and deco & great customer service!

The vegan Pistaccio ice cream is the best I ever had. Would definitely go there again. Now just wishing for vegan coconut to make a perfect combination 🤗

Delicious ice cream, the coconut and salted caramel were delicious! You know they’re good when they’re kept in those containers and not just out in the open :)

Amazing Gelato! Best one I have had so far in Australia. Real Italian gelato with a great variety of flavors. I would really recommend it!!

Tried the hazelnut and pistachio gelato. Fantastic flavours but not quite as bold as Pidapipo’s offerings. Still a must visit.

Simple clean and delicious flavours. The line was short which was great. This is by far the best ice cream / gelato place in st kilda. Don’t bother with the others on acland street.

So glad I found this place! Another we were told to try was closed and we’re so happy it was. It reminds us of an artisan gelato place at home. Flavours were amazing and scoops were huge!

The Pistachio flavour is memorable. It is probably the only time a pistachio flavour for gelato is salty. However, it really tastes like pistachio and is probably the closest tasting one I've tried. It has pistachio bits too. Certainly memorable :)
