SIXT Car & Truck Rental Launceston Airport

Customer service at the Launceston airport was excellent. We booked a small car and were offered a relatively new Toyota C-HR with only 6,000 on the odometer. Since this vehicle was a hybrid driving around a thousand kilometres was super economical.

Our holiday was the best due to the great car we hired from Sixt. It was clean, comfortable and drove well. The staff at the airport were very helpful. The process of picking the car up and dropping it off again was quick and simple. Would recommend using Sixt to everyone.

Organised rental of a Isuzu MUX online with ease, Had a excellent friendly customer team member when collecting vehicle at Launceston Airport the vehicle was emmaculate and exactly what we ordered and perfect for our 12 day journey around Tassie.

Perfect experience. We were lucky enough to receive a free upgrade upon arrival to Launceston airport which came out of the blue and we were extremely appreciative of the upgrade. Pickup and drop off always easy.
We drove a Suzuki baleno, not that great on the Tassie hills but adequate. The boot fit all our gear for 3 people

What an amazing team on the ground here at SIXT Launceston. We booked out a Tesla Model Y for the weekend and, having never driven a Tesla, the staff took the time to show us how to drive it and make sure that we were good to go.
We also had a sudden need to get a car seat for our son and the staff at the counter were more than capable and happy to assist us with getting that sorted on super short notice.
Fast forward to the end of our trip. Qantas cancelled our flight home and we suddenly needed to get back into Launceston and there was nobody at the counter. I called the local number for SIXT and within seconds, Emma was there to work the front counter and help get us into a vehicle and on our way. We once again ran into the issue of needing a car seat for my son and Emma went above and beyond to help get us into a car, get us a car seat and then help us get on our way - all while in between the next incoming flight and customers she needed to help.

The SIXT ground are all amazing, and Emma is a golfen example of good no nonsense customer service. 10/10 would SIXT Launceston again.

I’ve been using SIXT for a while now, and this is my first time using them in Tasmania. The staff member who served me was very friendly, accommodating and make the entire process feel seamless and easy for the hire from start to finish. The vehicle was in excellent condition and served its purposes for this trip. Highly recommend

Picked up my car in Launceston and dropped it off in Devonport. I experienced courteous and helpful behaviour from both places and was offered a ride to the airport in Devonport-very helpful!

Booked car online for pickup from Launceston airport the following day. As an NRMA member we got a discount from Sixt which also covered additional driver at no extra cost. When arriving at airport the process was seamless. Staff member was friendly and chatty. We didn’t get the car we booked but we got a similar one. Car was clean and in good condition. There was an oil warning indicating maintenance was required but didn’t cause any issues. Would be happy to recommend.

Pick up and drop off process quick and efficient. Car was great, they had no issues adding a baby seat as a last minute request. Great customer service, and reasonably priced compared to other rental companies.

Fantastic experience with the team member at Launceston Airport. So friendly and helpful. Again when handed my car in Hobart the team member was amazing, so friendly and helpful. Can’t fault anything with my rental from SIXT on my Tassie trip.

Hired a BYD Atto in Launceston for golf trip. Very good. Sixt is very easy to deal with. Good people and good cars reasonably priced.

Very efficient pickup process. Cheap upgrade offered (and accepted).Car was clean. Will use SIXT in preference in future.
