The Union Inverell

Visiting family in Inverell and had lunch Friday. We enjoyed it so much we had lunch on Saturday as well. Great service, food and drinks. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Didn’t take a pic but the battered prawn burger was amazing, best burger I’ve eaten in ages. 5 ⭐

Could not fault the service, food and friendly staff. Great place for lunch with a sneaky beverage or 2.

We picked The Union at random but as soon as we saw the place we knew we had made the right choice.

The staff are warm and friendly, the selection will suit all but the fusiest eater, the locally brewed beer sensational.

But the star of the show, by an incredible margin, was the food. The meat platter was succulent and perfectly cooked and the entree calamari was melt in your mouth!

Worth coming back to town, just to eat here.

Had takeaway spinach and ricotta ravioli with a side of garlic and herb sourdough.
It was absolutely delicious.
The ravioli was perfectly cooked, had a lovely creamy sauce and delightful flavour.
The garlic and herb sourdough was also delicious.
If you're in town looking for a meal, this is the place to go.

I tried fish and chips and to be honest didn't like it, tried scotch fillet on second visit it was brilliant. Staff at bar are so nice and welcoming.

Tonight we had the most amazing dining experience at The Union Expresso, Bar & kitchen .
Wonderful service , incredible food , delicious cocktails by the fire in the back dining room. The owner Friedy Meinel provided entertaining conversation and prepared a flaming crepes Suzette at our table . Duck confit cooked to perfection and Panko crumbed aubergine with chick pea sauce and roasted vegetables was divine . Highly recommend this restaurant! Wow!

Wonderful little pub. We had an amazing lunch here. The food was superb and the atmosphere was wonderful.

We loved the mixed grill, the best meal we have had in Inverell! Steak cooked to perfection, perfectly seasoned chicken, melt in your mouth ribs and an awesome salad. We will definitely be back.

We had a delicious dinner at the Union with some of our extended family. Staff were friendly and helpful I felt very comfortable as a young breastfeeding mother with a newborn. Would definitely recommend it!

We had a beautiful lunch at the Union while visiting Inverell. I ordered the salmon and it was divine. Looking forward to returning on our next trip.

Absolutely amazing! We've had the Barramundi and the Scotch filet. Both were really tasty, finely prepared and very well presented. The staff was great, polite and smiley. The menu isn't extensive, certainly because each dish is prepared withe the finest ingredients and offers the tastiest meal. Wishing them lots of success! We'll definitely come back.
