The Pirate Den Bar and Grill

What a great little venue. Awesome service. Food was great. We have food allergies and they were so accommodating which was super nice. Would definitely recommend.

Popped in for a drink and had a bit of trouble with our accommodation and Patrick helped us find a room, still so grateful for this! He was the nicest man and made us feel so welcome :) he was so lovely that we had to come back for dinner the next day and had an amazing meal. Such a lovely atmosphere and the staff are lovely too. Thank you so much Patrick and the pirate den!

Great cocktails, excellent food choice and pizza is great. Live music was very entertaining, and the staff were engaged and lovely. Simple atmosphere not overdone with good service, have been back twice, will visit again before I leave.

Barra ceviche and margaritas ftw! Such a refreshing and uber delicious arvo snack. Just perfect. Love love Pirate Den. Awesome live music always. My Saturday just feels complete. Thank you Tarah and James.

All our meals were beautifully smokey and tender. Great service, everyone was happy and welcoming. Live Blues music was amazing!

Food lovely. Good priced happy hour but shame I didn't try the oysters from Coffin Bay. Dogs welcome but that's wonderful Mission Beach for you 😀

Amazing house beer and an impressive menu means for a great dining experience and the impeccable service from the staff makes the whole place perfect! If you’re in the area and you’re looking for something real and different look no further!

Not to mention the fabulous FREE Jukebox selection at the bar as well!

First time dinning here and I can say we will be going back.
Staff are very friendly and welcoming.
Food was fantastic lamb ribs meat fell off the bone soo tasty and tge vegetables 😋.
Pork ribs again the meat fell off the bone and soo tasty.
Highly recommend to dine here when in Mission Beach.

A nice welcome when you walk in. Service is on point. A very good varied menue. We had to try the Aligator and Kangaroo taster, just to say we had it, and we were sceptical but boy was it worth it. Now the mains, Carol had the grilled Salmon, and I had the "For the Carnivorous" the Bingil Bay Beef. Brisket slow cooked on the smoker. And what a taste, just melted. They both came with Nash and seasonal veg. All in all a great meal. The whole menue caters fir everyone, even the kids.
If your staying in Mission Beach give the Pirates Den a try, you won't be disappointed.

Great people- bring back the small family business! Even got a Jukebox to top it off.

Really lovely and friendly service from the bar staff. Ordered the grilled barramundi with chips and salad. The fish was so succulent and well seasoned, the chips tasted fresh with a nice crunch. Wine list had a great selection of good wines at a very reasonable price. Fun pirate theme throughout and fans going to keep us cool.

I can't comment on food as I didn't have any but everything else was wonderful and the blues music though a little loud

Very nice food, the lamb ribs were really good and the barramundi extremely well cooked. You can order with your eyes closed and you'll be sure to have something good.

Tell the crew when ye get off at Mission Beach to choose the grill for the best grill and smoked food on this side of the coast. Highly Recommend trying The Pirate Sauce. Great selection of grog too.

Great Salomon dinner! So much better than expected, as most restaurants around serve simple burgers and unhealthy stuff. Really liked it after all the fast food of last weeks during my backpacking trip. And good value for money! Thanks! Steven, the Netherlands

Staff are incredibly welcoming the bruschetta was so good. Their Egyptian authentic dish really tasted awesome perfect spice!

This was our highlight of visiting mission beach. The service was probably the best service we’ve received at any restaurant. The food was irresistible. The live music and atmosphere was very relaxing but made this pregnant lady want to dance and drink. So reasonably priced, the meals were huge and very filling. I expected it to be more expensive for what we got. We will be back when we visit mission beach again. 10/10

Stopped in for dinner casual atmosphere. Crocodile spring rolls were a lovely surprise could of had two serves of those! Beef brisket was amazing!! Lamb ribs were pretty good although a bit oily towards the end. Reasonable price good quick service. Highly recommend.

We loved to expend our night at this place. We got Aussie taster and two amazing pizzas plus drinks.
The menu have lots of options and the atmosphere of the place is really welcoming.
Happy to come back in our next holiday.
