Great little park in Esk. Plenty of shaded seating and bbqs. Toilet block is close by and it is very well kept. IGA is almost across the road in case you forget something

Fantastic park in the centre of beautiful Esk. Toilets, covered picnic benches and BBQs. Amazing play centre for kids including a flying fox!! Stop in and take a break! I walk my dog there everyday!

My son loves this park, it has a pretty awesome flying fox, your standard playground equipment, swings and a climbing thing. There are quite a few shelters, benches and a couple of bbqs as well as a publ8c toilet. It can get pretty busy here on a weekend but I think the Somerset Council has done a pretty good job of keeping it well maintained.

A lot of effort has gone into this park and the bathrooms were tidy, with some humorous graffiti that was strangely wholesome. The park is vast and there are a lot of places to stop and rest. Like most of the main remaining stations along the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail, it's right on the trail and right next to town, making it a great place to stop for a break.

Has a large path area for the children to ride around and still be visible & within ears reach to come for a snag off the BBQ.Tracks to venture off in all directions so plan ahead and grab some reading material ahead of time from online information centre or join Facebook's Esk Shire & Community page to see what's on.Provided also with some history of the old train lines.

Esk Saturday markets. Interesting collection of stalls. Plants, vegetables, chocolates, home baking and more. Then check out the town.

Good parking, clean amenities, nice "Drunken Parrot " tree growing in park, just coming into flower (September) and the red flower has a nectar that ferments and makes the parrots drunk. Picture of Schoatia tree.

Plenty of activities for the kids, shady and cool in the afternoon.

The old railway station buildings reminded me of another country town waaaay back in the late 1940s, where my late grandfather was Station Master in the '40s and early '50s

Toilets, taps, doh water dish, 2 BBQ areas, large grassy areas, shaded playground, flying fox, rope climbing thing, long smooth concrete path for scooters etc. Shops very close.

We visited this location during a tour along the Brisbane Rail Trail. A fascinating exploration of South East Queensland's early railway history.

Great park & well maintained. Lots of benches, tables & BBQ's. Lovely play area, covered and kid friendly. Clean, well kept amenities. Great atmosphere with trees, bushes and views.

Good place to stop and take a break. Stretch your legs or let the kids have a run around and play on the playground. Dogs are allowed. Pick up bags and disposal bin is provided. Tables and shade area available if you want to have some lunch

Peaceful surroundings after a long, tiring journey. Enjoyed pleasant tasty food there, purchased from the Bakery. Satisfied, ready for the final leg of the journey.

This a well maintained and beautiful park with a great playground, picnic tables and clean barbecues. There is even a half decent flying fox!
