Love the old pub, best one in Esk
Went for lunch last weekend and the best steak burgers, excellent service by bar and restaurant, couldn’t have made a better choice.
Be hungry burgers and chips are great size.
Loved sitting out in the warm winter sun and being outdoors, indoors is lovely character and feel too.
Only complaint, no outdoor music, but I will check out when music is on as we have been there before with outside music and it’s hard to beat.
Highly recommend, other pub down the road is a lot more expensive for food and service is restaurant down the road is poor.

This pub totally changed my perception of Australian country town. Firstly the food, esp the Chips. They are AMAZING, do yourself a favor and order one big load of chips... Equally important - the crew. They are so warm, so funny, made us feel like home in less than 2 seconds. And of course their house brewed beer is refreshing and tasty. Sunday around lunch time, there’s band playing outdoor. Sitting outside in the beer garden, with the country band, nibbling on the crunchy chips and sipping cold beer. Man oh man, a city girl finally got to taste the essence of what country life is all about.

As soon as I stepped out the Ute I knew I would love this place. It’s different, it’s unique and it’s funky. The front porch has amazing seating, then through the saloon doors (don’t see that much anymore) onto the bar area which oozes history. The bar staff were super friendly putting our stubbies into stubby coolers were we then ventured into what I think is their new garden bar as everything looked very new but just amazing. Loved this pub as it was different and different is what I love. Loved the little pony out back too.

We dropped in here for a few drinks and ended up staying for dinner. A nice courtyard with heaters and dog friendly. The food was great. We had a parmigiana and a t bone.

My lunch was delicious. I ordered the Seafood Basket. The service was very good as was the setting. I loved the cane Motorbike that looked like a Harley Davidson bike. 😀

Good beer brewed locally, mid and full strength. $5 a schooner, great atmosphere and live music Friday Saturday and Sunday afternoon.

My family and I love taking a driver to Esk and sitting out in the old pizza shed for lunch and beers. Always a good time, super friendly staff and the food is great.

Yes it was very hot today - everywhere, but the food totally made up for a trip in the heat. Being mainly vegetarian, I was a little worried - but the Vegie burger was the best I have ever had 🤩. Grilled eggplant and so tasty. Good job 👌

Went here after a weekend of dirt bike riding in need of a solid meal, and a solid meal it was. Rare tbone was delicious and the staff were really friendly and accommodating. Will be stopping there again each time I'm passing through.

Friendly bar staff, my steak burger and chips was delicious and reasonable pricing. Nice area to sit out the back with your bikes if you're riding the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail too, no need to lock them up or worry about security. I wish they did pints but schooners will do! Highly recommended.

Easily one of the most charming pubs/hotels I've ever had the fortune of stumbling across, friendly staff, a beautiful place to visit with a lovely beer garden.

I didn't get a chance to try the food but the menu looked great.

I'd highly recommend driving out just for a look, I would insist that you stop by if you're driving through the area.

Can’t say enough about this awesome country pub! The atmosphere is perfect, the beer is great and the staff are super friendly. I LOVE visiting this pub and I’ve had many fun times here:) Well worth visiting!

Great food. Quick service. Really great prices and love love love the feel of the place. So many things to look at. Quaint pub that rocks out with awesome bands. Radiators were fantastic!!!

Called in prior to lockdown, really nice old pub, had a chat with the owner's (real people) had a feed, wasn't my thing, but my mate smashed. Lookin'forward to calling in again for the same reason.

Great old pub with good pub meals at pub prices not restaurant prices like some others in the area. Staff welcoming. Good spot to relax..
