Red Deer Cafe

Great food and very friendly and helpful staff. Every time we drive through here we stop and have lunch or a snack. There is a playground out back for the kids and generally plenty of tables and chairs for customers to sit on even when busy. We have never been disappointed with the food we have ordered.

A staple stop while on the Brisbane Valley Highway - this cafe delivers time after time!
The staff are always incredibly friendly and from a price perspective you get great value for your dollar.

This is a cafe that the whole family can truly enjoy. The kids playground is spectacular. Going though Esk on your travels? Be sure to stop in at this iconic little cafe. A delightful setting with lovely food and excellent prices.

My only gripe: next time will get the cook to lightly fry the bun of my burger. Generous & delicious filling, bun just far to soft (and cold) for my liking.

Enjoyed a great latte and maximus before our Sea Scollop meal to arrive... These Scollops were huge the best i have had ever exceptional value for money, Friendly Staff, relaxing atmosphere....

The best burgers around.. always put alot of effort into there food.. the burgers are huge. Pirate burger is a must for a big eater.. love this place.. THE BEST PLAYGROUND

I ordered battered barramundi with chips... was very nice.
Great area out the back to eat if you have kids as there is a massive play gym thing ...

Stopped in on the way to see Crows Nest recently to purchase a couple of take away drinks, the service was prompt and welcoming and most importantly our freshly brewed drinks were delicious, the menu had a good range on it, however, we weren't there to eat, a great little stop with some interesting furniture and well worth a try.

Delightful food stop..lots of character in decor..nothing is too much for the staff..country hospitality at its best.
Always worth driving on to the Red Deer..

They do great food. Burgers are awesome. The cafe has a HUGE children's playground at the back which puts most playgrounds I've seen to shame, so it is a great place for families with children to stop and chill and relax. I would highly recommend this place. The staff there are awesome and friendly.

Very impressed, and exceeded my expectations! All the food was yummy! fast and friendly service. Really nice coffee. Very family friendly, HUGE pirate themed playground in the back eating area. Toilets and baby change facility. I didn't think this place would be as good as it was, would definitely recommend.

Ate here with two kids and the grandparents. Service was quick and friendly despite being quite busy, and the kids had loads on fun on the playground. We had the fresh crab sandwiches and fish and chips, kids had nuggets and chips. Food was delicious and staff were very friendly. Definitely worth a visit and we'll be stopping in again.

So pleased we found this cafe which is now on our list of favourite cafes when travelling. The staff are so friendly and helpful and they offer a varied menu for both meals and snacks. For those travelling with a dog ... they are very dog friendly and have a nice secure yard next to the cafe with tables under umbrellas for those stopping with the pet.

Oh my goodness! This place is such a GEM!!!! Not only is their food fresh, tasty and well priced, they have AMAZING service. Always greeted and spoken to with a smile from everyone. Out the back there is an awesome pirateship playground and inside is a wonderland of nautical themed items everywhere.
And IT IS PET FRIENDLY! This place honestly couldn't get any better :)

Great food, menu has good variety, excellent playground for kids and friendly staff. Couldn’t work out why ordering on line through their website I was charged 10% processing fee. I thought I made it easier for them.

Lovely food and friendly staff make + a dog friendly section makes it the perfect place to eat and replenish one's energy.

If you are like me and like All Day Breakfast menus then this is the place for you if you are out this way. Ignore the 10am cut-off on their menu - Ask and you shall receive.. MASSIVE serving size for a very reasonable price. Tastes really good too.
