Beautiful. There is absolutely no service but we put cash in the box and saw the ranger in the morning. We were right next to creek and it is stunning. Unhook your van and go to the falls up the road. Drop toilets had no smell. Lots of bird life and wallabies. Sweet swimming spot. Nsw parks fees apply and no dogs.

Very relaxing. Toilets need a kg of yoghurt thrown in each. And 'Companion' shower bag needs replacing but over all Park Staff do a pretty good job

Loved it. Despite the dry (no water in the creek at all) it was still nice and serene. The walk to the falls offered a much different view with usually water covered rocks exposed to offer a view of the entire creek bed. Absolutely wanted to light the donkey fire so I could have a full on bush shower but you can't take firewood from the National Park so I had nothing to burn. Maybe next time.

Love Crows Nest National Park. We stay there as it is handy to Crows Nest (10 minutes) & Toowoomba (45 minutes). The area has lots of opportunity for day trips, with a wide variety on offer. The National Park is of a small scale with some pleasant walks.

Lovely place to camp, mosquito's are not the best. Fantastic due to short walk to lovely freshwater swimming areas.

One of the best small campgrounds I have stayed at. Well layed out camp sites, with its own fire / bbq pits. Toilet & a rare boiler for heating water for a bush showers in the toilet block.
Enjoyed our stay here.

A well maintained camp ground and extremely popular.

POSITIVES
2 female toilets & 1 shower cubicle
(Men were using the women toilets?)
BBQ / fire pits per camp site
All 13 camp sites circles the admenities
A boiler for hot shower water ?
Shower bag - self fill
Soap dispenser was full & working
Crows Nest walking trail 1km away
Local police patrol the park.
8 minutes to Crows Nest township
25 minutes to Lake Cressbrook

NEGATIVES
My site was large with picnic seats (as I researched before booking) but other sites were tiny. Camper trailers & caravans found they "just" fit. Please check the map before booking.

The 13 campsites are close. This meant that music, talking, laughter and Gray nomads using their caravan water taps, pumps or toilets echo at night.

Internet via optus or Telstra are both weak & intermittent. You need to drive into Crows nest township for reliability.

Male toilets - are there not enough toilet cubicles that the men needed to constantly use the women's toilets to take a "dump"? I found this very rude and as a solo female camper unnerving.

Wet toilet paper left at the tap by some lazy campers unable to walk 5 steps to the drop toilet cubicles - Due to covid paper towels & bin would be nice.

OVERALL
As a solo female camper, the park always has other people camping around you.
Certainly one of my top 10 national park campsites.

Nice spot close to some short walks with a few swimming spots and a lookout. Camp sites are right next to each other, has long drop toilets.

Crows nest camping area has allocated campsites. There are beautiful scenic walks to waterfalls and rock ponds. Ranges do a good job to keep the site well maintained; which I’d give 5 starts no questions asked!

But there are some negatives on campsite itself, hence I give 3 stars
- small campsites n could be noisy
- smell of toilets were very unpleasant n it did get into the camper trailer as well.

I worked from camper trailer n the 4G got disrupted even with some winds. Had to go to the crows nest town to get some descent internet going. Optus & Telstra receptions; Telstra been better
