The Lord Anson

Went here for dinner on Thursday, and was very pleasantly surprised. We sat down the ramp near the pool tables and it had a lovely library feel about it. Great parmy, very big serve. Brownie was soooo good. Wasn't very busy, so it was great that we didn't have to wait long for service at the bar or for our meals. And we could all chat without too loud background music. I will be back again.

My wife and I enjoy playing a game of pool there about once a fortnight. We often end up having dinner and a beer there. We like the look inside the place.

The food was really good and reasonably priced. Even though the staff were extremely busy they were polite, friendly and took their time with customers.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, food was amazing, and portion sizes more than adequate for the price. Great selection of craft beers both on tap and bottles. Definitely a new favourite.

Great local find when travelling through, great craft beer list, and varied menu with good tasting food - and plenty of TVs to watch sport and music on anthems for a good ambience. the team on Easter Sunday were great! Thanks guys

Warm, cosy bar in Orange. Great for any occasion. Fab selection of craft beers and local wines.

Good food, friendly staffs, value for money.

Friendly service and great atmosphere. No major downsides as I saw. Food was good, and portion sizes were good with a selection of regional beers on tap.
Rocked up (5 of us) with no booking, as we hadn't planned ahead and they still rolled out the welcome.
Recommend.

We had the most amazing dinner at the Lord Anson tonight! The super friendly staff were fabulous and our meals were absolutely delicious. The pub has a great atmosphere and isn’t noisy or over crowded. We will definitely be having another night here before we leave Orange 😃

This is a great little pub! The staff are friendly and more importantly they remember that you’ve been there before. The food is excellent, the barramundi is delicious and apparently the chicken schnitzel is as well (so my partner tells me). It’s been renovated well but also keeps it’s old charm and the atmosphere is lively without being noisy. We were only in orange for 3 nights but chose to come here for two of them. The Lord Anson is well worth a visit!

LOVE Triva on Thursdays! Even just great to visit any day of the week really. Great atmosphere like the music and decor is amazing and the staff are always friendly.
If I could give 10 stars I would.

Great staff, great selection of craft beers on tap. They had Pioneer Brewing Co. and Badlands Brewery when I visited in March of 2023.

The food was so good. Great vegetarian and kids options alongside more traditional favourites and the best chocolate cake I've ever had. Chef's grandmothers recipe I heard. Great service, nice atmosphere. 👍

Great pub in the centre of town, sells local beers like Badlands and Pioneer.

A nice spot for a low key meal and local wine. Steaks were great, tender and cooked perfectly. Staff lovely - recommend booking for dinner.
