HADANA SURGERY ( Dr Cong Thanh Huynh )

One of the best GP's I have ever had. Very busy but still takes the time to make sure you are cared for. Very smart and thoughtful. We were very lucky he could fit us in and I am very grateful for that.

Dr Thanh is a fantastic GP and is very caring with his patients and he take the time to listen to them. However, the experience is not the same for my experience of the Reception staff.
I had an interaction with one (I shall leave them nameless because i actually have respect for other people) and this interaction caused me to have an anxiety attack and hang up.
I was nothing but kind, polite and calm and yet this receptionist:
- didn’t let me ask my question as they jumped to conclusions and thought they knew what I was going to say
- cut me off mid sentence saying “I’m going to just stop you right there”
- told me my records weren’t there, and
- spoke over the top of me

As a receptionist at a go surgery you should be aware that people that are calling are often MENTALLY unwell too and you should be a warm welcoming person for them so they want to remain a patient of the surgery you are employed at.

I am very disappointed, especially given my history with Dr Thanh and how great a gp he is. I personally will be requesting to not have to deal with this receptionist ever again if I ever need to call again.

Great Doctor but overall customer service has alot to be desired. Patients have to call if your late but if they are running late they refuse to contact patients out of courtesy . The vet can do it, why cant a doctors receptionist do it too.
