Had afternoon drinks here - there’s plenty of outdoor seating with umbrellas for shade and as the afternoon progresses it’s the perfect location to catch a nice sunset, located just behind the sand dunes. Every meal we ordered was delicious!! Will visit again!!

Amazing place to have your birthday celebration during summer. Staff are helpful and kind. Food is very generous and reasonably priced. Drinks at the bar are nice. Great atmosphere with DJs later at night. Will definitely be back soon!
Hard to find a park on a good day so make sure you’re getting some other way in.

Outstanding food and service! SA Roast Pork was incredible, carrots and crackling were the highlight. Pizza from the kids menu had no expense spared, and the base tasted a lot better than most. A bowl of hot chips was the only other thing we ordered, but our whole family were very well fed and have nothing but good things to say about the food. Would always come back.

I’ve just had the best piece of crispy battered fish that I’ve had in a long time.
It’s nice to see a chef that’s not afraid put put a pinch of salt on top.

I just love it, it is one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten.
They have a good selection on their menu & drinks list and over the years I have tried a lot of them. I've never had a bad meal.

I've been here plenty of times. Probably at least once or twice in a month. The food is always very good, oysters, burgers, pizza, buffalo wings etc plenty to choose and to recommend because the food is delicious. One of our guests is a Doctor and his first time here, he enjoyed his food. I normally place my review months after, but last week visit was memorable. One of the best service I had here in Australia. My husband and I worked in 7* hotel where we value customers and always want them to return thus, we always deliver not the good service but exceed expectations service. Well, Rhea delivered superb service and exceeded my expectations. Waited for my order while everyone having their lunch, she apologized and served a nice and delicious salmon and as a gesture of goodwill I did not have to pay for it. This service I used to see in a luxury hotels. The best food, the best service, the best location. Highly recommended and will be back soon.

One of my favorite place, our local Bistro. The food is the best, the service is casual, simple and quick. Been here countless of times have to take a photos of the area next visit.. soon.

Highly recommended place to visit.

Right on the Semaphore sand dunes the Palais is a vibrant and elegant eating venue. The atmosphere inside is bright and light whilst the eating outside option is fabulous.
The sharing platter was tasty and enough for the four of us. We also shared oysters, fish and prawns.
Wine is reasonably priced too.

Had a great meal with lovely staff. Fantastic site, you can dine inside or out. Nice to have a salad that is not made with tomatoes and cucumber.
Plenty of parking a little further down the beach in the public car park. Public access and a nice walk along the beach before or after the meal is a great feature.

Great seating area (sat outside with our puppy) friendly, helpful and efficient staff and the food was amazing!
Oysters tasted great and the schnitzels were delicious, perfectly crisp and the chips and salad on the side were delicious as well!! Definitely recommend to eat here!

Good food and fast service. Being right next to the beach there’s lovely views.
Was a bit confusing where to enter the bistro via but other than that a good experience.

Love this place. The chicken schnitzel Is fantastic. Drinks add up but they do anywhere!!

The food, the service and atmosphere was excellent. I had the super salad, it was amazing! Others had schnitzel, pizza and s & p squid, all raved about their food.
Only improvement, clean the tables with clean towels and soapy water so their not sticky. But a bloody git spot for a feed.

Great meals under $30 , wonderful views of the foreshore jetty and spectacular sunsets what more could you ask for .

Been coming here as local Semaphorian for many years and overall the food and service has been consistently high. Delicious, good quality produce, great presentation and pride is served from the highly organised kitchen team. Manager Simon and staff are absolutely terrific with hospitality and helpfulness. If you're not happy with something, (being reasonable) they will sort it out without a problem. A Semaphore staple by the seaside with a great vibe. Huge screen TV for sport lovers resides in a separate area. Love the new outdoor decked seating and bar space. Perfect during the good weather months. Good Covid measures. Love this venue 🌴 🌊
