Drakes Semaphore

A nice variety is here. I can always find what I need. A nice large and clean store.

Located in the beachside suburb of Semaphore, this Drakes supermarket is large enough to stock everything you could possibly need, whilst not being overwhelming or excessive in any way. In fact, the mid size supermarket is incredibly convenient in every way. Furthermore, the recently refurbished Drakes has excellent service, fresh produce and since the closure of the nearby newsagency, has just started selling X-Lotto as well.

have some good food prices but not many

Great shop but currently having upgrade to carpark, there are still carparks but not as many currently.

Nice and tidy place, cashier named Isabella or Isobel was very lovely a bit shy but she wasn’t problematic and clearly knew what she was supposed to be doing 😃

I went in to purchase the Aloe Vera drink to try. Love it. Also purchased other products too of course. I saw but did not purchase beautiful nice sized peaches. Will next time if any are left. I will say great products, and fruit and veg excellent.

Great range for a small supermarket, lots of local products available. Limited parking as Semaphore is generally quite busy.

Nice supermarket with a good range of product. Who says LOCALS can't compete with the big chains. From humble beginnings, they live by their family name. S.A. born and bred.

Staff friendly helpful great

Drakes Semaphore, is my local, i gotta say, what a bunch of friendly people that work there, everyone is so willing to help or offer advice, keep up the good work ( love the drake ) lol!!!

Open every day even on a public holiday.
What more can you want?
Has everything you need and then some.
Staff have always been friendly & polite.
When down at Semaphore for the day we always drop in before heading home to grab a few things.

Great staff service. Good size store.
And check out the kids toy section. Lots of fun crafts, puzzles and plenty to do more thank any other foodland ive noticed.

Honestly I've never been more impressed by staff service quality :D :D they have pretty much everything you need whether you're just a beach goer or if u live here :D but most importantly I love their dedication to their customers, community and environment :D staff will help take your shopping to your car, most sa and/or free range products are at a competitive price at good quality and the staff can actually pack a bag properly :D
And I honestly don't think I've had a better Greek salad :D

Since moving to Largs Bay, I have always received good service at Drakes Foodland, Semaphore Road. However, I received excellent service a few weeks ago from a young man in the deli section. Amman (I may not have the correct spelling) answered my question on where would I find the hot chickens, they are at the front of the store in a hot cabinet. "I am about to take some freshly cooked chickens off the rotisserie, if you like one of them", he told me. Yes thank you I replied telling him I would just nip around to the frozen section, pick up a few items and return. Five minutes later Amman met me in the freezer section with a freshly cooked chicken in a bag, he asked if I needed a shopping bag and reminded me to be careful as the bag was hot. The excellent service and friendly smile was very welcome. I thought you should know good customer service is alive and well in Semaphore.

Drakes are really good supermarkets and this one won't disappoint. Find the things that you can't find in other stores. The food is really fresh, the store is really clean and the staff super friendly.

Was a very nice store just a quick visit to get stuff for my mum but found everything easily

8 years of shopping here , if I ever moved away from semaphore , I think I would still take the trip to do my shopping...great staff and service , great competitive prices and always good meat , fresh fruit.
