Urunga Riverview

We have stayed at Riverview many times usually for a holiday. The view is relaxing and amazing. Love the verandah overlooking the river, the comfy bed, the well equipped kitchen and the furnishings. A place you can relax, swim and fish. Jenny is a great host. Nothing is too much trouble, privacy is respected. We have stayed there many times and will keep going back. Thanks Jenny.

Me and my beautiful partner Jesse had an awesome time at the riverhouse. Surrounded by serenity and picturesque views, with a caring and thoughtful host - Jenny. The house was immaculate with provision of all the essentials to make our stay comfortable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone - solo travellers, partners, friends or even the whole family.

Comfortable, inviting and right on the river Jenny’s home is an unexpected haven. We felt so welcome and appreciated Jenny‘s warm hospitality. Fresh flowers, great bed, lovely linen! I loved the jetty to really connect with the river, the deck was perfect for sundowners and Otis is the perfect pooch. A very special place.

Clean, modern and in a fantastic location. We were looking for short term accommodation during the bushfires and Jenny could not have been more accommodating and welcoming. The beautiful timber floors, quality layout and the big deck are very impressive. The fires made the sunset over the river spectacular and the myriad of bird song at sunrise was a wonderful experience. Close to the Urunga township and Anchors Wharf restaurant, you still enjoy an idyllic, private and peaceful hideaway on the banks of the Kalang River. Perfect place for a relaxing break!

We have just spent 2 days with Jenny and Otis at Urunga Riverview. What an idyllic place. Our apartment had everything you could want. Jenny was so welcoming. Our Irish Terrier Gem and Jenny’s Golden Lab Otis became great friends. Urunga is an unspoiled coastal town but has everything you need. Great old pub, walks, golf course etc. We will definitely be returning to stay at Riverview again.

Truely a lovely spot ... very well appointed... couldn’t ask for more..quiet.. peaceful location on the river and a short walk to anywhere around the village... great coffee and food establishments to be found... all n all a wonderful place to call home for a short or long break . Jenny by the way is an exceptional host... we have no hesitation in highly recommending this great location and will certainly be back to enjoy the beautiful surroundings .

Our stay was great, a very comfy one night stay, Jenny accepted our late booking no worries. Urunga Riverview has a lovely outlook over the Kalang River, accommodation is excellent, comfortable bed, large spacious bathroom with spa bath, great kitchen with dishwasher and full size fridge. You won’t be disappointed,

Cute & comfortable hideaway right on the river, surrounded by trees. Beautiful, relaxing and peaceful location, comfy beds, cosy house, fantastic host, and amazing coffee shop just up the road. Despite being surrounded by natures, it's still nice and close to the town, with swimming spots, waterfront walks, shops and the local pub.

Jenny was a lovely host, quick and friendly communication. Our stay was relaxing with no fuss. All of the amenities were clean and as described. Thank you for a wonderful stay

If there was an option for 6 stars for location, Riverview would win it. The accommodation is quiet, adjacent to the Bellingen river, and within easy walking distance of a lovely restaurant. Swimming in the river in summer is a delight. Riverview is my first choice when I’m looking for accommodation at the coast. Highly recommended.

Jenny was a kind and lovely host, extremely discreet and 'Riverview" was a wonderful home set in a beautifully tranquil location. We thoroughly loved the serenity with our own private jetty. The kids and I fished almost every morning and afternoon (even caught a little flathead) giving it a traditional kiss and let go! The back verandah overlooking the river was so relaxing and ever so enjoyable after a long day, kicking back with a glass of wine. Town was a short walk, with a great little licensed cafe/restaurant literally around the corner. I would definitely recommend and will definitely return
