And the best part… they have a meat vending machine for after hours meat purchasing. This is so cool! I have never seen this at a butcher. Excellent for Saturday afternoon or Sunday purchases, when the butcher is closed (It’s lovely that Urunga still has small town shop opening hours)

Best country butcher on the coast - we drive down from Coffs regularly to get our meat. Their famous thick and thin snags and rissoles are the best!
Also it is a superb idea to have an auto buy fridge out the front for weekend and public holiday purchases.

Best butcher on the mid north coast by a long shot. Quality meats, fantastic service and very helpful in making selections/cuts to suit what I want. I love the fact that if they’re shut, or on a Sunday etc, I can still get their amazing products through their vending machine. Absolutely the best.

What a fantastic find and what a fantastic young man serving us. We had the great pleasure and the finest service by the young butcher. Nothing was an effort right down to helping us find the best bag of lamb bones for the dogs. Our sausages were top drawer. Shop was spotlessly clean and the prices more than fair. Thanks Guys. We will be back.

Heard only great things about the shop from many folk. People travelling south and north and those taking supplies back home to Sydney after holidays. Wasn’t disappointed- that window display amazing. The choices fantastic. Quality superb and same great value for money. The service the good old fashioned stuff - as the son of a 1970-1980s butcher it was a wonderful experience. Will be back

The things you do for good food, when we were in Urunga we were told to buy from the local butcher as the quality and choice is that good, people were not wrong , best sausages we have ever had , steaks , roast all excellent.I have phoned them to try and get stuff sent by refridgerated transport and they can't do it , they tried , so solution we are going to drive up either the last week of November or second week of December and fill up the big esky , 1st day we will drive straight the 6.15 minutes stop over night then drive home the next day maybe stop at Tea Gardens coming back if we are tired , sounds ridiculous I know but the meat is just that good,

Supurb meat and fantastic service. Dropped in here on our way south and picked up some steaks for our dinner. The quality was excellent and the service was top notch.

We have been buying all our meat from Urunga Butchery for over 5 years. Let me tell you, not once have we had a mediocre piece of meat. It is all absolutely stunning! The staff are so friendly and accommodating, and I am fussy. Heads up. I had never eaten a pork sausage, and now I will never change. Absolutely no fat and amazing taste. It has taken me now to review because, after what small business has been through over the last couple of years, it is so important to give accolades where they are due. Congratulations Urunga Butchery, fantastic service, and top quality products.

Can we say best chops, steak and absolutely the best rissoles for a bbq! We live in beef country..but thei rissoles the best version of home made rissoles have ever tasted👏👏👏👨‍🍳🤴

During a recent stay in Urunga, we attended the local bowling club and were fortunate enough to win a leg of lamb in the meat raffle - the meat was provided by the Urunga Butcher Shop. The leg of lamb was “Cowra Lamb”. We baked it and shared with friends - it was sensational/ very very tasty / highly recommend this Butcher Shoo and their meat

We visited this store this morning for some meat, the staff was very welcoming and friendly, they had a wide range of meat on display.
The sausages which we ate for lunch were delicious, full of flavour and very little fat.
Will return again when next at Urunga.

We drive 30km from Macksville just to enjoy quality meat from friendly staff. In saying that Macksville also has a very high quality butcher shop as well. We are happy to buy from both.

Stayed in Urunga for a week and bought best meat from here. Lamb burgers and chicken, spinach and feta sausages were so nice we put some on ice to take home. I would highly recommend this butcher. Staff are so friendly.

Moved to Urunga not long ago, so like to support local business, I am really pleased with the quality/price ratio. I got what I paid for, best rump Iv had in years, cooked Medium rare. Keep up the quality guys, bye bye supermarkets

We recently holidayed in Urunga and utilised the local butcher… the black Angus T Bone steaks where the best - that good that we bought a 2nd lot..
honestly, I was blown away by the presentation window and the shop itself, was just awesome.. the service was also great, I was that impressed by everything that my hubs gad to literally drag me out of the shop.. can’t wait to re visit this butcher … cheers

Always an awesome display of beautiful meats and smallgoods - all made on the premises, and lets not forget, the best cooked chickens in town. The boys always go above and beyond to make sure you leave happy.

We travel to Urunga for my husband to exhibit in the Art Space. Always buy beef and pork sausages and never disappointed.
