Wow! After a disappointing stay at a local holiday park we stopped in at Hello Birdie completely by accident for some brunch and the sense of relief was instantly phenomenal. Amazing vibe, comfy, welcoming, warm and accommodating. Lovely airconditioned seating in their gorgeously decked out interior and the kids had a blast in their thoughtfully set up kids playspace outside (where there is additional shaded seating/tables for outdoor dining or watching the kids play.) Thank you to Jacki, Beth & Emily for bringing a smile to an exhausted single mum's dial. xxx

This is the first time I've been to Hello birie and wow what a surprise, great happy friendly service fantastic coffee and the best ham cheese and tomato toasted sandwich of had in Ocean Grove, Will definitely be back cannot recommend this place highly enough!! Thanks to the staff at hello birdie

I am a former worker at hello birdie, had been working there for 7 years and I have to say that I loved it, I miss it so much and every time I come in for a coffee it brings back all the memories and fun times with my former coworkers and all the laughs and it’s such a good environment, I’m going to miss working there.

We enjoyed a Saturday morning impromptu breakfast at Hello Birdie. We were greeted with a welcoming smile, provided with THE BEST COFFEE EVER as well as very delicious food. Highly recommend.

This is a great little cafe. It has beautiful coffee and the atmosphere for the kids is amazing. I highly recommend you get down there and try the homemade goods, it won't disappoint!

Amazing place to come with the kids. Great play area both inside and out. Food and coffee also top notch (though I usually get the same thing everytime I come!!) Also has a well-priced kids menu with healthy options. I've been to a birthday here too where the kids all get a little party platter each. Definitely beats a Macca's birthday party!

Delicious, strong and gutsy coffee. Had a chicken snitzel roll, it was tasty and reasonably priced.

Found this spot whilst looking for somewhere to go for some lunch on a dismally wet winters day. Yummy coffee, friendly staff. I had the buritto bowl, lots of flavour, plenty of yummy elements nicely cooked chicken, and filled my belly perfectly. Partner had the cowboy beans, perfectly cooked and seasoned, he just wishes if anything that the serve was a little bigger. Over all was great, and we will be back.

Hands down the best family friendly cafe around! The staff are awesome, the food is delicious with great choices for grown ups and kids. The coffee is just brilliant too! And the kids play area is really great. My only critiques are that the indoor kids area is too dark and some of the toys are a bit too dirty for my liking. Otherwise I can't fault this lovely local business.

A great kids friendly place with good food and coffee. There is a small indoor play space for children and also a huge back yard area that is amazing for kids to run around and play in. The food is great and really good value. This place gets young families who enjoy going out still!!
