Not sure if they have rooms, possibly do. It’s an oasis in the outback, we should have stayed longer. One of the best waterfront views you can get. The steak sandwich I had was also spot on. Definitely recommend visiting.

Authentic country pub, great atmosphere, lovely meal and allowed our dogs in the beer garden out the back while we had dinner. Check it out, you won't be sorry!

If you want an iconic outback pub then try this one. We stopped for lunch and then decided to camp in the free area and went back for tea. Friendly, obliging, great food.

Awesome country pub.
Food was great, beer was cheap and they had a firepit out during the evening.
You can even donate $2 to the RFDS and you get to write your name on the pub wall.

Service and meals are fantastic. Locals are happy to chat if your not an idiot, state of origin nights are really busy...country style busy.

I flew into Tilpa working with the aeromedical branch of Ambulance. Some of our crew had missed lunch and we would all miss dinner on a busy shift. I called the Tilpa pub and Sonya organised some hot chips for us and brought them out to the air strip, even though the kitchen may not have technically been open. Thanks so much Sonya for making our day and seeing that we got a feed at some point in that 15 hour shift!! Great friendly people, really appreciate the hospitality.

There are worst places to be stuck in! The pub is old and brilliant. The rooms worked for us. Shared facilities were bloody amazing. Best showers ever. Arrived late and a very pleasant surprise.

Spent the night free camping across the road from the pub. The management and staff were very friendly and helpful in relation also to road conditions.

As a backpacker, definitely worth going. I had really good time there, worked at the pub for 4 months and experienced the real Australian outback. local people and Pub owners Phil and Sharon were very friendly and took me in as theyr family member ❤ I miss Tilpa and hope to see you again soon. Tilpa pub is one of a kind type of a place. You find petrol, diesel, hot meals, cold beer, accomodation and friendly owners. From the beer garden you can look at the Darling river whilst having your cold beverage. The walls of this pub are unique with all the signatures on them. Must see place.

I hope I can visit soon again!

Great outback pub with friendly staff and customers. We had a great lunch and dinner and a fun night around the fire drinking beer and listening to local yarns.

The Tilpa Pub is a outback gem. Great outback pub atmosphere and it’s right on the Darling-Baaka river between Louth and Wilcannia, so bring the fishing gear. You can write your name upon the wall for $2 that is all, which is a donation to the flying doctor. It’s got great tucker, some accommodation and a huge camping area over the road with public playground, showers & toilets. A small donation for the Flying Doctors if you use the showers with plenty of room for caravans etc. It’s one of my favourite pubs in outback western NSW and I’m heading there next week. There’s no place like the Tilpa Pub for that outback experience.

Cold beer, a nice bush cooked meal and relaxed out the front beer garden. With Covid if your looking for a feed make sure you book ahead. Great times 🍻👍 well worth the stop over.

Drove all the way out here not sure what to expect, but wow. What a place! Also the Bush Pubs tour was on the night we got there which was truly amazing, the little pub in the middle of no where had the best band/music I have seen in a long long time. Such a night I will not forget any time soon.

Great stop over for a coldy on the way to or from Broken Hill
