Loved the food and service. Cheeseburgers are really great.
Strawberry shake did not have any strawberry flavor or color. But other food was really great.
Toilets available outside and needs a key from staff

It was nice to try a local cafe in Robertson. The long drive from Sydney made us so hungry. It's good that they were able to accommodate us without a booking. The cafe felt warm and cozy and the staff were very helpful. We didn't have to wait long for the food and they were good. I must say that the overall experience made it deserving of a five stars. The baked goods were prepared fresh and they look so fancy. We order some sandwiches and burgers and the soup of the day was amazing. The portions were not big but they are enough. Hopefully. we'll be able to visit this place again and try other food in the menu.

One of my new fave spots, great local produce, bread and amazing cakes. We had one of the greatest breakfast sandwiches ever!

This little place is so cosy and delightful. The breakfast menu seems simple but everything we had was incredible. You can tell every ingredient is such high quality. All the staff were lovely and welcoming. The choc chip cookie was possibly the best I have ever eaten and the croissants are outstanding too. Highly recommend this absolute gem!

Oh my gosh - YUM - a must do in Robertson/Southern Highlands. I've never seen such a creative menu, food was fresh and delicious, and every aspect of this place is obviously taken care of with pride.

I had the salt cod & potato hash. Almond flat white was also exceptional.

I went on a trip with my friends and had lunch. All the food was soooo lovely. And I bought more bread on my way home. The staff were also very friendly.

Update: dropped in on the weekend for lunch. I had the cheeseburger and fries, I don’t know what magic they use on the meat and condiments but it was one of the best cheeseburgers I’ve had. And the fries are house made and fresh, so good. Mum had the veg soup which was also a winner. 10/10 for consistency on food. And the bread loads are also good. Try the flaxseed, crusty on the outside and super soft on the inside, great for soups or homemade cheese toastie 👍

This place is adorable. We unfortunately arrived too late for the lunch session but were served takeaway tea and coffee. Both were excellent. Staff is friendly, menu looked good. We’ll be back for lunch

EDIT - back for a lunch visit as we were keen to try. Did not disappoint! It’s super busy but the service is quick and friendly. We had the cauliflower and eggplant soup which is absolutely yum! Comes with a big slab of brown loaf and butter. The cheeseburger is also a good option. Must try the Robertson potato chips as well, they’re really good. We dined at the outside tables as it was a perfect chilly late autumn sunny day 🍂 ☀

Happened across this place this morning as we were originally headed towards the pie shop, but the kids needed a toilet stop. Saw this place with a good few people sitting outside and thought that was a good sign. The bacon and egg roll in house-made potato bread was amazing, and the coffee was great. My kids rated the chocolate croissant and the ricotta pancakes with bacon, caramel butter, and maple syrup. Will definitely make this a regular stop on our way down the southern highlands.

Edit: almost forgot to mention the delicious sourdough they sell. We picked up a couple of loaves on our way out. Tried the olive and rosemary one this evening and it was delicious!

This wonderful roadside eatery features farm to table delights that will knock your socks off. The charming town of robertson has really outdone itself and the food is a mixture of hearty and fresh. This is the kind of place where you sit down and enjoy a delicious meal with loved one and enjoy local hospitality. Worth the wait and worth the stop

What a gem! From the first bite of our custard Bombolini to our last sip of coffee, Moonachres delighted us with spectacular food. The potato bread on the bacon and egg roll was melt in the mouth, the house made hash browns and cheese-filled kransky were exceptional, even the tea and banan bread hit the spot. The staff were friendly, the outdoor area great for dogs and kids, and the local colour gave some great travel advice (can recommend Belmore Falls, they're spectacular after rain!). Well worth a visit 10/10

I had heard some great reports about Moonacres food and the sustainable vegetable gardens and have been dying to visit. The opportunity arose after a long bush walk through Barren National Park. The menu is short but full of tantalising offerings of in season and local produce. We opted for the tasting plate of cured cold cuts and preserved vegetables. The servings were plentiful and accompanied by the home made Moonacres bread. We enjoyed every morsel and will be back to try sample more of the menu. An enjoyable experience with friendly and professional service in a COVID safe environment.

Nestled in the picturesque Robertson, Moonacres Kitchen is an enchanting culinary haven that transcends the boundaries of traditional farm-to-table dining.

Chef Stanucci's culinary creations are an ode to the rhythm of Moonacres farm, with each dish embodying the essence of the celebrated ingredients. The house-made artisanal potato bread is simply unmissable

I prefer sitting outside under all the trees. Food & coffee are very good, and the specials are special.
