Highly recommend! I came here needing to have glue removed from my hair that extensions had left and the girls did an amazing job from the reception to the hair dressers they are all so friendly and kind definitely will be coming back soon

This place is amazing!! The girls, the service, the vibe and the whole set up is super cool. The girls were so inviting and friendly and really listened to what we came in for, hair and makeup. We felt a million dollars leaving the salon and will definitely be back! Thanks to Abby and Grace for having us and to the 'Bar Chix' for the delish cocktails, even at 8am ;) 10/10 stars! They called and pushed my appointment back 45 minutes and then called again and cancelled it completely 20 minutes later. This was a Saturday before I was attending a wedding that I had travelled 3 hours to attend. I had to go spend over $400 on products to do my own makeup as I hadn’t bought products from home due to having it all booked. Very very poorly service.

Would not recommend this place to anyone - your normal hairdresser will do a much better job!

I visited Style Bar prior to a friends wedding (which began 2 hours after I left Style Bar). I went with a group of 4 other women expecting a fun time with cocktails and the promised Style Bar experience. What we received was the furthest thing from that.

When we walked in, we weren’t offered a cocktail of any sorts, nor the entire 2+ hours we were there.

During the appointment, I specifically communicated that my hair does not hold curls very well and that texture spray would be needed for volume and to hold the hair. Whilst texture spray was put in the top of my hair, it was not at all put in enough to actually hold my hair, and no hairspray was used at all.

Within an hour of leaving, my hair (and my friends hair - who also didn't get her hair sprayed with hairspray) had already started dropping, and by the start of the wedding the curls were basically gone.

The customer service was also terrible. On top of not being offered a cocktail, Jenna, the hair stylist doing the hair commented to one of my friends her displeasure at doing hair. Not something you want to hear when you've had to pay $45 for her to do your hair (which did not hold anyway).

I contacted Style Bar the following day requesting a refund for the amount which they said they would give me. It has been 6 months and I have followed up numerous times and still they are not replying to anything but the initial email.

Whilst they explained in their reply email that the person who ran the bar area was off sick, this was not communicated to us throughout our entire visit.

I wouldn’t waste your time and money here.

I went in for an up style as I've heard amazing things and was very disappointed. I wasn't sure what I wanted but decided on a textured bun, which I did not receive. Stylist did not want to curl my hair as I had 'too much hair' and asked me for my own hair tie as my hair was too thick. Just wanted to get out of there in the end and the hairstyle I received I was not what I was expecting. I did not pay $45 to receive a hairstyle I could have done at home. Ended up taking out my hair and got my sister to curl and style which looked 10x better.
