Moree Artesian Aquatic Centre

A lovely visit, hot springs pool and gloriously cool swimming pool with ample shade on a hot morning. Wonderfully enjoyed part of our holiday. I loved the information in the foyer and the familiarity of the entry steps just as they were 40 years ago, only newer and cleaner!

The famous Moree Hot Mineral Baths originated in 1895 when the bath's mercurial waters were accidentally discovered. While searching for a reliable source of irrigation water, a bore was sunk into the Great Artesian Basin. Amazingly, this bore derived hot mineral waters, heated naturally at 41 degrees Celsius.
This is why we travel from Brisbane to experience this & love the setup. Their facility setup is excellent for everyone to relax.

Great facility to enjoy thermal water. With planned laps pool currently under construction, there would be even more reasons to visit. Nice VIP area with the sauna, however it it a bit small comparing to eqvivalent thermal waters facilities in Europe. Given much lower patronage it is quite adequate. It would be nice though to have few more saunas and perhaps an infrared cabin in the vip area.

Anyhoo.. extremely pleasant experience. Well worth going out of your way to visit. Comprehensive facilities,sauna, icy plunge bath, Artesian thermal pools,Gym,snacks,wellness options,water slide.etc.

I could stay here for quite a while.
I stayed at motel about 50m away, better to do that than stay at a motel with their own pool. That's my opinion anyway.

Helpful and friendly staff. Facilities are clean. If in Moree, this is a must do on your list. It has a kids water play area, a large slide (extra $4 per person unlimited times), an Olympic sized pool, 30 degrees warm water pool and two 45 degrees hot spring water pools. In the 45 degrees pools it's best not to remain in the water for more than 15 mins to avoid dehydration.

The entrance has a shop for all swimming needs and a cafe.

There are benches around the pools and also lawn on one side giving ample space for a picnic too.

We stayed there for 3 hours and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Highly recommend it.

Such a wonderful place to relax and soak in hot artesian water. Especially loved the jets. Really like you are getting deep tissue massage. This place is very well kept. Clean and safe. Many elderly visit this place.

Easy, accessible hot Artesian spa pool near a load of simple Moree motels. Works on one pool happening now - and a bit noisy. Great start for us early morning before a day back on the road north. Modestly priced. Friendly staff.

Great place to soak in warm water on a cold winter's day. Nicest bore bath in the area - clean and some varieties of jets and enough space to swim. Even a ramp for handicapped people to easily get in and out.

Super facility. Not quite as busy this morning compared to last night. Loved the hot baths; other pools were not cold either

Always a great place to visit

If you are looking for a place to relax, this is the place to go for a sit down in hot or cold water, if the kids want to go down a water slide, there is a water slide over there where up the top the there is a lifeguard guaranteeing safety and only letting one person on the slide at a time, and once you are done, you can get some hot chips or chocolates

What a great place to relax and unwind. Pools were clean, spacious and a welcomed experience. Great set up with first aid people on duty should you run into trouble staying in too long. Cafe on site. Definitely recommend.

The true spring and it is the only entertainment surrounding 100 km! The price is around 12-20 per person! Go there and have a good experience!

It is very good to have a hot bath in the winter months... that's my experience...💖💖😀😀
