Great one bedroom apartment with seperate bedroom. It was great to have a kitchen and laundry in the apartment. Everything was clean and comfortable. The check in process was quick and informative, it was great to be welcomed in.

My partner Jude and I had a great experience staying at Direct Hotels for work. Sue was very accommodating along with her cute fur baby dog Mickey, who was also very accommodating by greeting us everytime we saw him. The rooms were always cleaned and neat whenever we came by and Sue was always there to provide us a room whenever we would come by early. Would recommend others to stay in this hotel, would be the best one in Moranbah! We definitely would come back to stay here next time :)

Reception made it fun to check in and no issues with the room. It was large and clean. Just noting this is not a full service hotel - they don`t service your room every day. It`s a well located hotel close to shops (inc Coles), the Workers Club and the local Pub.

My family choose to stay at Monterey because they have lovely size rooms with dishwasher, clothes washer and dryer, a nice little outside area and of course wonderful service.
