I loved the beach and the walk around the lagoon. Its a 5 km walk back to where you started. Lovely scenery and perfect picnic spot for kids. The beach is too good to go for a surf. Check for weather conditions before going as a windy day could spoil the fun. Its one unique adventure that will be in my memory for ever.

A picturesque area that needs to be looked after for all to enjoy.
Nice for family picnic.
Unfortunately suburbia is on Killalea doorstep. Isn't the once secluded surf area it used to be.

Outstanding natural beauty! My husband and I visited for the first time last weekend what we attended The Farms Market. What a beautiful location for an outdoor market.
It's easy to get to and there is plenty of parking as well as a permanent cafe, seating and toilets.
Highly recommend a visit just for the scenery.

Great scenery and a nice cafe. Surrounding area is very heavy populated so not the easiest place to find, but well worth a visit.

Great place to take the kids or have a picnic near the rock pools on the right hand side of the rocks. The water is always clear great for beginners learning to surf and for the more advanced when the swell picks up.

If you're ever driving past Shellharbour Killalea is a must-see. Calling it beautiful would be the understatement.of.the century. There is a cafe toilets campgrounds and a car park down right near the surf

But if a walk down and back up again and wouldn’t recommend for people over 60 or with bad knees! Good spot but there’s barely any shade so be sure to bring protection 💪

The event hosted by the gumarra clan on this wonderful slice of land was stunning and worth every dollar. The dreamtime story of this clan and it's origins are a privilege to hear. Walking around the land, telling us what's bush tucker and how some of the plants where used as everyday life items we use today. Beautiful art gallery painted by uncle Richard. Very highly recommended!!

Great for walking, bird watching, taking photos. Track was a bit muddy after rain. Park on the beach and walking down some stairs before heading left to the lagoon

'Bondi of the south' - great wave at the farm that works like a swell magnet. But really crowded. There is a 'gang' :) of local long-boarding old-timers that deserves a respect as they are surfing there for probably more than 50 years but at the same time it might make it difficult to catch the good ones.
Yet worth the time, beach, wave & sharing the location.

Keep this one quiet... it's a stunning beach in a beautiful part of the world - that's not over-crowded. So keep it quiet and don't tell anyone.

Beautiful walk by the beach, the river and bushes. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as there are some hills and rocks.
