Absolutely gorgeous lil winery - slightly off the beaten track but worth the 5 minute drive off the main road for a visit! Stunning property and even better wines. Marie-Pierre was such a lovely host and seated us on the patio which was perfect for the slightly wet day today. Also a huge fig-newton out on the lawns which you can bring a picnic and dine under - we will definitely be back here again ❤

Not often we get the chance to taste five great wines for five bucks and here it’s available. The garden has the breathtaking view indeed with the vineyard, a variety of flowers and plants, and of course the gigantic fig tree. Always a pleasure to visit a local business that is small but certainly admirable.

Took the family to Sunnyhurst Winery on the Kings Birthday long weekend. We were treated to an excellent and virtually private tasting while sitting overlooking the amazing gardens. Geoff is a wonderful host with a green thumb and his wife has an incredible knack for turning out some amazing wines. We thoroughly enjoyed one of the two bottles of white that we took chilled for dinner and are really looking forward to drinking each of the bottles we tasted today and took away (Far too good not to have one of each). The kids were able to take our little fur ball around the gorgeous gardens and play on the swing under the fig tree while we had time to chat with Geoff and enjoy the wines on offer during the tasting. If you are in Bridgetown, you need to visit this amazing and unique place.. it made my day ,, don't forget to try the thier sweet wine ,, and they have amazing activities for picnic and children.. the scenery is spectacular

We came here in Autumn and it was beautiful. The experience was intimate and wholsesome and the wine was delicious. Highly recommend stopping in for a tasting with the wine maker herself.

Such a lovely treat to have this winery within walking distance from where I am staying at Oak Tree Barn.

The best winery of 5 we had visited that day within the area. Learnt so much about the wine, and I loved every single wine I tried in a tasting. Such easy wines to drink yet with so much complexity and it was so interesting to taste so many different flavours in the same glass. All of them are so morish and easy to drink, not sickly or basic at all. Had a group with super diverse tastes and we loved it so much. And was so cute to sit and have time inbetween tastings to chat it out with each other on such a gorgous porch after cute walk around the property. Every wine made me smile, literally.

Called in on a recommendation whilst staying in Bridgetown and wow ~ stunning boutique winery award winning wines had the 5 tasting menu and the Viognier 2022 actually made me cry it was so delicious I had to buy some for my girlfriends

Great tasting handful of wines, perfect for those sunset evenings. Great service and the wines are not overly priced. If you have kids they have something for them to do while you are sampling the wines. Well worth a stop.

Very friendly and knowledgeable hostess, who makes the wine herself, as she says, from A to Z !
Nice selection to sample, some comfy chairs to relax in, and a chance to stroll around the lovely garden as well.
Definitely recommend a visit and a purchase !

Beautiful scenery and nature, we really enjoyed our visit. Wines were fantastic and the host/winemaker was more than generous with her time and expertise!

I have never been to a winery where I have enjoyed each and every wine the winery had for tasting. Sunnyhurst Winery is the first, and their wines are exceptional. Each one was a joy to sample. So tasty, so much flavour. This winery is a hidden gem and although I may not be able to visit as often as I would like, I will definitely continue to purchase their wines via their website.
I have tried many a 'pricey' wine from some of the 'best' wineries in Australia, and none would sit above Sunnywest Winery.
High praise I know, but so true. I bought bottles of all six varieties they are so good!
