Frank was amazing! I highly recommend using him for a pre purchase inspection like I did. I arrived 15 minutes early to the inspection and he was already there. Even before we met he had sent me a detailed email with information about the car and several others for a comparison. When I arrived we spoke for about 5-10 minutes to go over any questions I had about the car and then he carried out a thorough inspection. Communication during the whole experience was exactly what you would expect in this situation. He showed me photos during the inspection and talked me through everything, explaining what was good and what I need to be mindful of. We then took the car for a test drive and again the communication was great. He continually explained how he felt the car was performing and any concerns he might have. After the inspection I received a very detailed report going over absolutely everything and outlining possible work that would need to be done and other options etc. Dealing with Frank has been a great experience that I would recommend to anyone who needs piece of mind before they purchase a vehicle.

Frank was excellent! He fit us in after we booked a last minute inspection. He ran a complete diagnostic of the vehicle we were looking at. We then also had the opportunity to test drive the vehicle with him. He then gave us his thoughts on the car and provided us with a detailed report outlining all his findings. Something we particularly liked was the fact that he talked us through his findings and what they mean as he went through the vehicle. We feel more confident in the future when looking at other vehicles. He also was very genuine and transparent and made sure that the car was worth our time and money. He has a lot of experience and we would definitely call him back in the future.

I don’t usually leave reviews but I decided to make an exception for the exceptional services that I have been receiving from this workshop. You simply can’t go wrong with Frank. He’s knowledgeable and yet down to earth. There has not been a single moment in the course of his work that makes me think he’s trying to make the most profit off me. He’s the type of person without an agenda while dealing with others. Frank always puts my circumstances before his and tries to come up with best solutions to various tricky situations as opposed to most expensive ones. I had an issue with my VW yesterday, cannot run beyond 80km/h, call another place, and was asked to leave the car with them for at least 2 days. reached Frank last night around 7 pm, and he spent nearly 4 hours finding, explaining, and fixing the issue. most important I have been charged with a very reasonable price, absolute won't find other places offer such kind of service. even today still receive suggestions from Frank about how to prevent a similar problem happened next time. Highly recommended for everyone need a reliable and humble mechanic service.

Frank conducted a Pre-Purchase Inspection on a car I was looking at buying. Frank arrived 5 minutes early in his mobile van on a Sunday, which I was impressed with, and conducted a thorough inspection of the car which listed all faults of the car and kept photos and records for myself to keep. After a test drive which Frank drove and then allowed myself to take over, he explained certain factors of performance and long-term effects to consider. From Frank's evaluation, I bought the car as he informed me I was receiving a very good price for its condition. I will use Frank in the future and recommend him to all my friends.

I called Frank on a Sunday morning to investigate my car after a minor collision, he did isolating the point of damage by scanning the onboard computer, all during a pouring rain, on the side of busy Burwood Highway, and did not charge extra for extended time required. Highly recommended 👍

Very professional, efficient and straight to the point. Explained everything clearly and even let me watch as my car was serviced. I felt my car was well looked after.

DO NOT LOOK ELSEWHERE! I refuse to use another Mechanical engineer. Frank goes absolutely above and beyond for his customers. He listens, he researches, he cares, he doesn't overcharge, he has readily made himself available when I had no idea how I was going to get my car home after breaking down in the middle of an intersection, proffesional isn't a strong enough term that seems fair to use. Frank takes pride in everything he does. First time I got hold of Frank, I found his number in google for Ferntree Gully, I was stuck with two children in my car on a boiling hot day in Heidleburg. My car was on, with an interlock, and I couldn't turn it off, I had to keep it running! My key was completely stuck in the ignition, I phoned his number in tears begging him for help and promised I would repay double if I could drive the car to his work and have him help me get the key out.
Frank had never met me, didn't know me from a bar of soap and walked me through every step I needed to take until I could get the car to him.
He calmed me down, he gave me instructions, I met him and he magically got the key out somehow. I don't know how he done it. He didn't even charge me what should have been hundreds of dollars. That is one of a billion stories where Frank has had to come to the rescue and make a miracle out of my very old holden. He understand the customers individual support needed.
Today was the best day to hang out with Frank as he done a complete thorough inspection noting every single minor issue or suggestion for improvement on a new car I bought that Frank organised within my budget. I never in my wildest dreams would have been able to buy an appropriate car with such low kms, I searched high and low. Frank found me the best car my kids and I could ever dream to own. He took over everything, the negotiations, the timing, the dates, you name it Frank done it.
This man, is an exceptional Mechanical Engineer who is not out for your money or ANY shortcuts for his own benifit. If you want the work to be done
(and done properly!) , thoroughly and to the best standard!...
Frank is the only person in the South East that is appropriate to hold that title. Exceptional!!
