Black Ant

At our wedding, Pat & I chose to have a grazing table for our guests after our ceremony and a buffet style dinner for our reception meal. All of our catering was done through Black Ant Gourmet and we cannot recommend them enough!
The food was presented so beautifully and tasted incredible! We received so many compliments from our guests on how excellent our caterers were and how delicious all of the food was.
The pricing was very reasonable and results surpassed our expectations.
My bridesmaids came to me during the night with beaming faces to tell me that when they entered the reception area to turn on all of the fairy lights and set-up the cake and cupcakes onto the cake table the caterers had already taken care of it! Jodie and her team certainly went over and beyond for us.

What a great find in sleepy little Kin Kin, lunch was incredible, dessert the best and lime meringue tart and Chai latte I've ever had. The new owners have a vision. Not just burgers and chips do yourself a favour and take a drive to check it out.

Great place to stop in for lunch, great food with an amazing selection of salads and sandwichs, ice cold beer and good coffee

Enjoyed a lovely morning there just before Christmas. This place has be updated with comfortable tables & seating. Lots of salad items. Could use a few more cake choices, but would definitely recomend

Great place for coffee, cakes, focaccia, pub type meals, ice creams ,etc etc. The place to be for Sunday lunch after the market. In case the pizza van has run out over at the hotel.

Our favourite cafe in the Hinterland for breaky, lunch & coffee. A beautiful drive & great deck area to relax & enjoy a meal. Check out their website for pizza nights, themed dinners & also their Sunday BBQ Buffet. The Kin Kin Countryside Loop is a great walk to do from across the road too - 14km.

Delicious Falafel salad for lunch. The service was friendly and efficient, while not being intrusive. Good coffee. Would definitely come again as there was a lovely selection of items on the menu.

On a day trip we were looking for a place for lunch. Kin Kin General Store filled the bill perfectly! Very good burgers, pulled pork sandwiches and salads. Big selection of drinks too. Friendly service and clean washrooms. A very pleasant experience!

Fantastic food & loved the overall feel and ambience. Good quality food and products. The local "Noosa Black" coffee (beans) was the best.

Stopped in on a girls trip and got an amazing coffee for the road! Such a lovely woman behind the coffee bar (the black ant sculpture is awesome too).

The food looked very good as did the look of the cafe. The bread used for my chicken salad sandwich was excellent. Very impressed.

The food is so full of flavour, beautifully presented and served with a smile. This is the best place for Sunday breakfast. Lovely drive through the countryside, followed by a relaxing breakfast while you peruse the papers and sip your coffee. This is what life is all about. Thanks for the great day.

Absolutely delicious!! The new owners of Black Ant are doing an amazing job, the menu is fantastic and meals we have tried so far are exceptional!! Service is quick, happy and friendly and meals are really well priced! We love this place!!!

What a Funky little Cafe, on the main St of Kin Kin. Very rustic Australiana Country atmosphere,super friendly staff, food is wonderful and not too expensive.
Thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast here, but I did raise an eye or two when I asked for a glass of Merlot for breakfast. 😁😁😁👍👍

A great place for a coffee, beer and/or lunch. The Sunday roast lunch is sooo yummy while listening to some casual live music. The journey there on a motorcycle is a pretty awesome ride also.

Stopped here today while biking the Noosa Trails. The food was amazing, had a delicious Thai chicken pie and a super tasty carrot cake. I'll definitely be back to enjoy some more great food. 😁
