One of the best private shell collections open for public worldwide! Visited this place a few times. Always the great pleasure to see top shells of Australia in one place.

Easily missed but glad we didn't. Not just another museum. An excellent collection of sea shells from in and out of australia. My family ended up spending a long time there looking through our favourite shells.

The owners have spent their lives collecting and creating amazing displays of shells and sea life. I could easily spend hours looking at everything.

This was one of the highlights of our Australia trip, we hope to come back soon.

Private collections like this are what I look forward to finding when I holiday around Australia. You'll walk in and your jaw will drop, Cath was a lovely guide and had answers to all of our questions while we wandered through Peter's massive and diverse collection.
The gift shop itself feels like a curated collection!

OPEN Western Australian Winter school holidays until 18 July 2022, then closed again for a short while, this is one of the best shell collections in the WORLD. This is a treasure trove of beautifully displayed shells, all meticulously labeled and displayed. The owners are on hand to talk and discuss their wonderful collection that they have put together over the past 60+ years!

An absolute must to visit to view Peter's superb collection. Kath is also very knowledgeable, the museum has been running for over 40 years.

This museum was an amazing place with many underwater creatures and shells, of many different kinds. The history behind this collection is also very unique. The owners of the collection are extremely kind, informative and love to have a chat. I recommend going to have a look, you'll definitely not regret it.
PS. Don't be put of by the house like appearance, inside is definitely a wonderful museum.

Jaw dropping. I read the pamphlet at the info center and when I read "Australias largest private collection of shells, corals crustaceans" I expected it to be smaller in scale than the public museum displays I'm used too, I was so wrong. Theres more shells than I've seen in my entire life, there were so many and so beautiful. Theres neat displays of rows and rows of gorgeous little round shells, and displays of huge spikey shells, giant crabs, fish and all kinds of stuff. If you've ever found something cool at the beach and marvelled at natures designs then this is like everthing beautiful anyones every found at the beach all presented together in a jaw dropping display. I've got to say you have got to visit if you are in the area.

A very nondescript building made me wonder if it eas worth it...but it was. A personal collection of thousands of shells from across the globe. The owner is very friendly and happy to talk about his diving career and adventures. Definately with a look. Takes eft payments too.

Loved it. Great to see such an impressive range of shells that overwhelmed me with how many types they had collected over so many decades due to their passion for shells.
