As a jerky enthusiast and a @home producer"to all my work friends and mates" this stuff is top notch.....you can tell its got some love in it.....flavour and texture is on point!!! Got the smokey BBQ Flavour it lasted 3 seconds :)

Original Jerky. Fantastic product!! Best I've tried by far!!

Seriously best Jerky i ever had. Tried their product at the meatstock festival Sydney. Purchase a set of flavours. So good, been raving bout them to all my Jerky loving mates. Easy to purchase more from their online store if your not local to the Hunter Valley. Touch pricey but well and truly worth the tasty, quality product. Also comes with a toothpick in each re-sealable pack.

I was beyond ecstatic when I first received these jerkies in the US of A all the way from Oz. I’d heard great things and was truly looking forward to biting into them. We have our fair share of high-quality jerkies in the States but despite knowing the quality of beef that Upper Hunter Smokehouse uses is far superior to the average beef, I was still not ready for how exceptional-tasting their jerkies are. They cannot even be compared.

I tried the Original first and worked my way up to the Pepper. I half-expected it to be a regular original, you know, tasty but nothing to write home or write a review about BUT I have to say that the texture and flavor of the meat itself was packed with such intense good ol' beefy flavor that it was almost like a homecoming. Beef hasn’t tasted like this since my childhood when farmers were raising the cows properly and with reverence and respect towards Mother Nature. The seasonings on the original were good, very good, extremely thoughtfully selected but somehow not overpowering the true star: the simple but outstanding taste of the beef itself.

The Smokey BBQ flavor was next, and it was sublime. I am not normally a big BBQ sauce person but this one was so good that I was convinced no other jerkies in the box would top this one. It had the right balance of sweet, savory and smokey.

I tried the Hot one next and it was an umami bomb with just the right amount of heat. It’s spicy but you’ll likely be able to finish a whole bag without being in blissful pain.

My favorite was the Pepper. This one completely rocked my world and I was somehow not expecting much from it because it just said “Pepper”. I’m like, okay “Pepper”, I’ll try it. &%*&^^%& is all I have to say. I loved the forward peppercorn flavor and now I’m a little sad because I finished it and I can only reminisce…

Upper Hunter Smokehouse jerkies are the jerkies for beef purists with discriminating taste.

Hands down the best jerky out there! Chilli that actually kicks, and original is just sublime.

Absolutely the best jerky money can buy. Have spent alot on this jerky. Will be buying more soon! Get amongst it!

While you can't buy retail at this location, the product is sensational, the best jerky you can get.

Their products are SOOOO good, I could sit at the end of their production line with an open mourh all day!

Great quality products

Generally am delighted in your product. It's really the only jerk I buy. But (sorry for the but) this time a bit disappointed. It seemed very dry and no tooth pic
