Sandy Hollow Tourist Park

It's a lovely caravan and motel park. C aravan sites are drive through and spacious.amenities are numerous,older style but very clean.puppies had a large area in which to be taken for a walk.pub up the road serve good meals .the emporium shop over the road is great and interesting.prices were good.fuel station next at cheaper price.need a sign on toilets about not dumping toilet cassette in toilets.use the dump site.we saw a women take her cassette to ladies toilet.it only takes one to spoil it for everyone who does the right thing

This park is in a lovely setting. Can see the park is going to benefit from the work the owners are putting into it. Even the extremely wet conditions we experienced didn't "dampen" our enjoyment, the frog chorus was an extra bonus. The Tourist Hotel across the road was well worth a visit, tasty meals.

What an amazing location! Staff are very helpful and friendly. We just had the experience of attending an Archery Shoot and we have really enjoyed Sandy Hollows not just the Tourist Park and the best feeds at The Pub. But the whole experience this weekend from the local hospitality to accommodation has been amazing. Can’t wait to come back!

I love this place... So peaceful with a nice rugged trail just behind the park for a decent hike. The kitchen in the cabin was well stocked (I appreciate a sharp kitchen knife) and did not have to break out a thing from my travel chest. We stayed an extra day and would have stayed longer axcept we had still 1600kms for plan A.
Well maintained and Jen and Bob are always up for a casual chat. Thanks guys.

BIIIGGG!!! Beds in the motel rooms. And nicely appointed comfortable aircond rooms fully equipped for two people kitchen. Shower room and soaps shampoo and conditioner spot on. I was very happy with the whole deal. Good one to the owners for well presented grounds and swimming pool. Easy fuss free book in and friendly staff.
The Pub across the road is up to date with beer and wines and the T bone steak would make Fred Flintstone's giant appetite feel right at home.
Usual critical comments by me are at a zero. Great place Sandy Hollow.

What a great park to stay at with your carvan or cabins that are on offer. The grounds and amenities are immaculate. Beautiful little town to escape to the country.

Called on for a night in the caravan park with our van. What a lovely spot, plenty of room, nice clean amenities & friendly helpful staff.

Unreal CP. nice big open spaced drive through spots. Very clean amenities. Lovely helpful staff. New owners of 7 weeks currently doing an extreme makeover of the back section and clearing to make way for more van sites....it will be fabulous when it's done. Only downfall is smoke smell from the clearing of trees ....don't think that will be going on much longer....but it is so nice here... highly recommend !!... they deffs need a big caravan sign out the front as several people have mentioned they drove straight past.

Stayed last night at SANDY HOLLOW TOURIST PARK. And dinner and a few drinks at THE TOURIST HOTEL. What a great night. Room was spotless, service was first class . food was delicious . And so nice to meet the owner James Cowan and family. They have done a sterling job upgrading things. Everything spick and span. Thank you for a great night.

Stayed here twice in the last week. Rooms are very clean and well appointed. Staff at the caravan park and pub are very friendly and courteous. Will be heading back soon with the caravan.

Great central west NSW tourist park, amenities are immaculately looked after, great pool with friendly pub and coffee shop across the road.

The powered sites are large with lots of trees. There's not much grass but there's a drought on. But because of the trees it all looks nice and green. Can't wait to use the pool.
The Managers are friendly and I can't believe the price! $160 for a week, which is very reasonable. The Park is much nicer than I thought it would be, restful and peaceful. We are having a nice week here, might stay longer.

We spent 7 days at this fantastic caravan park. Amenities and pool were super clean. The massive pool turned out as the highlight for our kids. There is much to explore of country NSW in all directions from Sandy Hollow. It has been our second visit in Sandy Hollow and we will back again in 2021.

Kath and Jezza are the most polite , helpful managers I've had the pleasure to deal with in years, we were only staying overnight and ended up staying four days , park is clean , peaceful and cabins were clean and comfortable, hidden gem of a park , recommend you enjoy a stay , thanks girls , great time 🇦🇺😎

Bunch of bugs is the biggest problem but it isn’t even that bad so yea it’s pretty good

Can not recommend this park enough for those looking for simple, clean, no fuss accommodation options plus amazing customer service with a country relaxed approach. Have enjoyed Karen's hospitatlity twice in the last 2 years and now planning an Easter 2021 trip as we love the simplicity and ease of experience compared to the larger coastal parks. Awesome pub within walking distance with welcoming locals and an easy drive to the major towns either side of this sleepy haven. My kids love the freedom the park offers to ride their bikes and kick a ball without the regimented rules we experience in so many parks. My parents have visted twice also using the onsite cabins which have always been clean, well presented and facilitated with everything needed for a relaxed country getaway. Sandy Hollow is becoming a home away from home for us. Big thanks to Karen and her family for maintaining the park in the style we have come to love being easy going, accommodating and a fun experience for all ages.

Karen and Anthony were fantastic hosts, went out of their way to give us a hand and make us feel welcome. We were camping on a powered site and it was one of the most memorable nights of the trip for us. If you're looking for a place to stay on the Golden Highway then definitely check out Sandy Hollow Tourist Park.
