Cape Lodge Restaurant

Dinner at the Cape Lodge Restaurant is so underrated. We spent $225 for two people, three course meal + appetisers + sparkles and it was amazing value for the amount of thought and detail that went into the set menu. Waitstaff were attentive and professional, explained the menu well.

We loved every little detail about the food here. Perfect amount of sourness in the vinaigrette dressing to go with the oysters, amazing green lip abalone. The sauce and toppings that went with it was just perfect together. So glad we got to try this, the flavours and textures blew my mind.
The cuttlefish and pork neck terrine were each so uniquely flavourful, especially loved the bits of pickle and fruit in the terrine.
We also ordered the beef and lamb shoulder which was again, perfectly cooked, soft and amazing.
Both the crème brûlée and the fancy chocolate cake exceeded my expectations, not too sweet and a great combination of textures.

Four of us had a scrumptious High Tea yesterday. Everything was excellent, the service, the food and great value. What was especially pleasing was our request to cater for 2 vegetarians. I asked for a vegetarian option, but not quiche, they made a small toast with Margaret River mushrooms beautifully done. Very impressed.

We shared a lovely dinner at Cape Lodge for a special occasion. The wine list was fantastic, and the 3-course dinner was divine. The service of Fairuz was excellent. The venue and artwork were beautiful, and we highly recommend it for a fancy dinner with your partner.

The service was impeccable, our waitress was so attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about the food and wine. It’s very rare to find service of this calibre these days and such a pleasure to experience.

Afternoon high tea was fabulous. Great service fabulous food, a beautiful and calm environment. We had a lovely afternoon and can't wait to come back again.

This is perfect French fine dining in the region. The five star experience. Greatly welcomed taking our coat away. Great suggestion of wine with the food I was having. Menu options are perfectly balanced. The waiter beautifully displayed their seafood platter as if we were at the local shop. Meal was perfectly cooked. Napkins perfectly folded every time you leave the table. Bathroom is spotless with hand towels per use ⭐ and awesome hand wash. The whole restaurant has view on the lake.

Delicious 3-course set menu with wine, sides, and tea/coffee for $89! Great service too. Would definitely visit again!

We stayed at Cape Lodge for our Wedding Anniversary & booked into the restaurant for dinner. We had the most amazing experience there! The whole staff at the lodge & restaurant are fantastic & most professional. We had our room upgraded free of charge on arrival & at dinner the manager even presented a complimentary glass of champagne for our Anniversary. We could not fault this place. World class! Thankyou everyone at Cape Lodge , your professionalism & staff service to your clientelle is the best we have ever experienced.

Excellent food and service. We had duck and steak for mains and scallops for starters. All were beautiful. The waiter gave fantastic recommendations for wine. We loved it all.

We came here for a very special occasion, the service was impeccable, the food was amazing, the highlight being the desserts (white chocolate tart, and chocolate nemesis with raspberry sorbet). We highly recommend and will definitely be back!
