Nice beach.clear water.no fish caught today

Nice and peaceful in October. We did see a turtle

Nice place.Not many people. We where there in summer 2020. Got a reccomendation to kite here. I was kiting in low but gusty winds with sideshore current bringing me downwind. So not optimal conditions.
Also came to meet a shark here. Kited straight over the thing and it instantly turned it`s head to me. But because of my speed and different course of travel it didn`t follow.
I kited further out to sea, to get out of the area and get an overview and be sure I was able to pick up enough speed on my way back to shore.
So I just aborted the rest of the session since I don`t have reallife exp. with these kinds of sharks and and because of me moving fast I was acting as a prey animal.
I thought it was a cool experience wich left me wondering what kind of shark it was I came across and how dangerous it actually was.
Shark was about 3 meters, a bit more as 2 board lengths. and this blue ish colour.
I think it could have been a black tip my mrs said it was a tigershark but I hadn`t seen any patterns on the creature. We`ve seen both on the cruise. But I gues a group of people snorkling moving slowly is less risky and more expected behavior as a kiter on an quiet beach. Not to say I wouldn`t reccomend this place. I went to WA to encounter wildlife. After only 5 snakes. crocks salt and sweet water ones, one redback, and 2 centipedes I`ve encountered way less as what I thought I was going to. I was everyday out to find snakes. So it`s safe but caution is important.
Long story but it`s cool. I`ll be back for more. Question, anyone know the species I might have encountered?? 😁

Beautiful beach without the Coral Bay crowds. And you can take your dog.

Not as nice as some of the other beaches but is nice when the wind is blowing from the south. No coral on this beach.
