How totally awesome was our Turtle Quad Trek with Doug. Doug was so friendly and knowledgeable about the reef and local marine life. He took us to some fantastic spots where we saw amazing views, lots and lots of turtles and some rays.

We hadn’t ridden quad bikes before, so Doug covered everything we needed to know pre-ride.

The tracks we took allowed for some exciting riding once we gained a bit of confidence (don’t be scared, no prior experience necessary).

Amazing experience. I’m sure it would have been just as good with anyone from Coastal Adventure Tours, but Doug was amazing and so suited to working in tourism.

The best tour by far. The mix of quad bike rush, local knowledge and wonder of snorkelling was perfect. Everyone would love something about it. Our guide went above and beyond in preparing all my new snorkel gear I had just bought. No leaks, no fog. Thank-you for an amazing time.

What an excellent snorkelling day out. The three sites we visited were all amazing. Lots of coral, lots of fish and other sea life like turtles. Our guide and the captain were friendly, professional, knowledgable and fun. It was so worthwhile and a grand adventure. I highly recommend this tour.

We had the weather on our side but Dan and Ester timed the day perfectly, were informative and friendly but allowed us casual, peaceful and fun enjoyment of the boat and water, there was no rush at any of the snorkel drops, lunch, morning tea and afternoon teas were lovely and again well timed. We had a group of 17 on this boat and it was ample room, very chilled and laid back. Definitely worth the money and to spend 6 hours on the vessell and in the water in this location was an absolute pleasure. So glad we went with this company. We also hired a wetsuit for $10 and it was well worth it.

We had an amazing day with Hester and the team at Coastal Adventures. We did the reef explorer tour and the sunset sail, and loved both. Incredible turtle and shark encounters on the snorkelling tour, and the sunset was just beautiful. Highly recommend!

We‘ve had a wonderful snorkling tour as well as a perfect quad tour the day after. Highly recommend the crew and the tours. Phil and Heester (hopefully right pronounced 🙂) were so nice and helpful at the boat tour and Doug was our best advisor for not getting stuck in the sand 😜 with the quads and furthermore very patient and he showed us so much. 5 stars for everything. Thanks!

My son and I shared a quad with him driving, seeing the smile on his dial was well worth the money. Our guide was Nat, what a legend he was, great knowledge and sense of humour, thanks Nat you're an absolute legend and good bloke. The drive was great and the snorkel awesome as well, cherished moments doing this with my son. Thanks guys bloody loved it. Will include photos of ride and feedback from family on socials 😀

Overall experience was fantastic. Phil was lovely, as was Hester. Saw so many beautiful fish and turtles, even a Manta Ray and a wobbegong. A fantastic day.

This is an absolutely amazing tour the sunset was absolutely beautiful the quads are so fun and enjoyable to go on. The staff are absolutely amazing and friendly ❤

Saturday the 14 of October we went with Doug again to go on the turtle tour 🐢 we highly recommend this tour we seen turtles swimming around the quads are so much fun everybody 🐢

Worth every penny. Nat is a fantastic guide, funny, friendly and knowledgeable. The ride was incredibly fun and the views were outstanding. We saw whales, turtles and stingrays! Nat also took some awesome photos of us with the sunset. What a great experience!

We did the turtle and snorkel trek and thoroughly enjoyed it. A family of 4 we took our 2 children 6 & 10, and it was worth every cent. Nat was our tour guide and he was excellent, cannot recommend this highly enough.

We had an absolutely brilliant experience with these guys on Monday (notably Doug and Sam). We went for the quad bike tour and Turtle snorkel which I highly recommend. Thanks so much for an awesome day out!

Absolutely brilliant... We did the 6 hour snorkelling cruise and the two hour turtle viewing quad bike tour.
Both were worth every cent and we had a fantastic time on both trips. Staff are excellent and help make the experience that much better. Jess, Etiene and our catamaran crew were fabulous.
I cannot recommend highly enough!

An Absolutely Amazing experience, Tour Guide was nothing but the best. Funny, Informative and took amazing photos for us. The Quad bike ride through the dunes was sooo adrenaline pumping 👍🏽 10/10 experience !

Highlight of our trip so far. Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 hours on the ocean at sunset in Coral Bay. Yummy anti-pasto platter.. Well worth it....

What an awesome morning! The quad bike turtles and snorkle tour was an absolute highlight of our time in Coral Bay! We had so much fun zooming along on the bikes and loved stopping to see the turtles and then the snorkle at 5 fingers. The coral and fish were incredible. Thanks to Etti for making it such a great experience. We really enjoyed all you shared with us about the marine life and the area.

We did the South Sunset Tour lst night with Doug and wow. What a fabulous time we had.

From the booking process to the meet and greet at the office right through to the end, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

I am a bit of a Daisy when it comes to ATV’s so I went up the back so I didn’t hold anyone else up. It was the perfect spot for me because I didn’t feel pressure to go any faster and I don’t feel like I held the group up.

The scenery was just amazing and riding through the dunes was something I’ve always wanted to do.

Doug was a great guide. He was caring and very fun.

My recommendation to anyone doing the trip would be to take the goggles. Use the goggles. The sand is yuk in your eyes.

Great experience doing the quad bike tour with Matt! He was very friendly and knew lots about the marine life. The bikes were so fun and easy to use. We saw some turtles, sharks and sting rays from the coast line which was lovely too. Thanks for showing some great snorkelling spots. 👏👏

Wow! What a fantastic experience right from the start. We walked into the booking office and were welcomed with very friendly, informative & non-pushy staff who talked us through all the options on offer.
On the day of the excursion we were greeted with the most amazing crew who went above and beyond to make everyone safe and comfortable (me being the most nervous) . Many thanks to Phill & Esther who are just fantastic (and made me especially feel comfortable). With their professional, knowledgeable & friendly approach we got to see some amazing sea life. Thank you guys. We recommend this trip to anyone.

We booked a 9am Turtle Adventure Trek, and had an absolute ball! It was definitely a highlight of our stay in Coral Bay, especially for our 10yo (who isn’t a fan of snorkelling).

Here’s a few points that jumped out at us:
- The pre-trip information was great. We booked two days ahead of our tour.
- The bikes were really easy to ride, even for novice riders.
- The tracks were fun, with something for everyone. Even our 10yo pillion passenger had a blast.
- We saw lots of turtles (at least their heads popping up for a breath) at a distance, and a few rays from Turtle Cliffs.
- We packed water, sunscreen, and all the other ‘essentials’ which we didn’t even get a chance to touch.
- Some of the helmets had GoPro mounts (keep in mind if this is your thing).
- We somehow chanced upon one of the rare rainy days of the season, but that didn’t seem dampen the trip.
- The group was small, with only 4 bikes (plus the guide).
- Our guide was fantastic and included lots of interesting facts and insights at each stop on the tour. Thanks buddy!!!

Definitely worth giving the Quad Bike Trek a spin if you’re in Coral Bay!
