Blackall Visitor Information Centre

We visited and thoroughly enjoyed our three days break on our way to Darwin so had to stay again on our way south. An entertaining free guided tour, check with the Information Centre for details, and the historic Woolscour tour were really good, a lovely township with gold coin donation camping along the bore fed creek. Yep, had a good feed of yabbies there.

Alison was very friendly and helpful. Told us about the woolscour and the amazing artesian pool.

Great tour provided by the Information Centre at no charge. Our host was an old drover, among many other things, including humourist. Lived here all his life. Thoroughly enjoyed the history in the buildings at the Information Centre.

Great town with great attractions and amenities. The Lodge, old Masonic lodge, is very good and Stewart Benson, the old drover at Ram Park, is a character and worth talking to if you like a yarn and want to know about local history. Cheers Col

Plenty of great old historical artefacts spread around the grounds. Info centre was well set out and it was nice to chat with Alison about the local attractions. Worth a visit.

Fantastic Place to go and find information about the town and things to see and do. They were so friendly and helpful. Plus there was so much to see in the buildings and sheds on site.

The Visitor Centre is very friendly and has a lot to show you about the local history of blackall you can easily fill in a couple of hours Blackall in itself is a very friendly town and a lot to offer with its large Olympic thermal swimming pool and spas and more.

Very informative and to see an old drover Stewart benson who restored with different machinery donated from farmers he deserves a medal and the staff very informative 🚙🚙🌷🌷🌷👍👍👍

Stewie Benson gives one of the most humorous and informative shows you would see anywhere. It's a credit to him.

This is a very interesting place great tour and explanation of items displayed many items not commonly found anywhere.
