Jalbrook Estate

We stayed in a lovely one bedroom spa cottage for 2 nights and it had everything we needed for a relaxing couple of days. The cottage had been refurbished to a good standard and was spotlessly clean. It had a lovely large bathroom with a great shower and heated towel rails which I am sure will be a blessing in winter. The bed was really comfortable and although It was classed as a 1 bedroom it was really a Studio as the bed was in the same room as the lounge and kitchen. This didn't in any way detract on how nice the cottage was. Great little kitchen that had everything you could need and the breakfast basket was filled with eggs,juice,cereal,muesli and more. The outside area and spa was a delight to sit in and watch the birdlife and the odd kangaroo hopping past as we enjoyed a beer and wine. It was the peace, serenity and privacy that will make us return as with no WIFI and the cottage not being overlooked it felt we were in our own little world. The local village is walkable and we found everyone to be very friendly. We cannot wait to return

Our new favorite "go to" getaway. This was our first visit to this hidden gem for our 25th wedding anniversary weekend. We stayed in Corella and couldn't fault the cottage, and the owners were very accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble, and communication was great.
Welcomed with a bottle of bubbles 🥂 and a lovely breakfast hamper.
The spa was amazing and the fireplace was all ready to go!

Had an amazing weekend in the red robin cabin! Private outdoor spa and a view of the river was beautiful. Definitely a great way to mentally reset from the busy metro area. Can’t recommend it enough to anyone looking at going. Will definitely be back again 💜

Jalbrook is such an amazing place. The staff were super friendly and very helpful.
The room was very well presented.
Fresh eggs in a basket, fresh milk and Brekky for 2 on arrival.
The log burner was prepared for us upon arrival.
The spa was just fantastic and an absolute highlight.
The room was very private and secluded.
A 10 out of 10 experience.
We will be back.

Nice quality establishment. Clean and fresh, with a nice welcome basket. When there was an issue with the fridge,the caretaker sorted it very quickly. Definitely be going back for another visit

Absolutely gorgeous place with impecable and helpful staff. Lynn / her husband / and their crew run an amazing place set in such a beautiful and tranquil setting. Very healing / calming / and romantic. Whether it's the sound of the running creek; the cute rabbits scurrying around; or the smell of the flowers - could not recommend it highly enough.

My hubby and I had our first weekend alone in 4 years with no kids! Jalbrook was the most perfect and peaceful getaway. We arrived to a warm fire, a platter with various delicious goodies and a freshly bake loaf. The cottage was well appointed with hot spa bubbling away and everything you need if staying in.
The cottages are only minutes from Balingup town centre so just perfect location! Our host Jane is a lovely lady and so welcoming with her beautiful Labrador Molly.
The grounds are stunning and immaculately maintained with alpaca' s roaming around. We absolutely loved staying here and will do it again and maybe even take the kids :) Thanks so much -Michelle

been coming here for about 12 years absolutely love the tranquility the warm home made bread and wine is of course always a welcomed bonus . love the area the accomodation is picture perfect the spa is a must and warm log fire finishes the day off nicely . could very easily live here perminently

A 3 night stay for a special occasion. It was absolutely delightful. The location was brilliant, the accommodation was lovely, clean and very well appointed. GREAT HOT TUB. Homemade bread and local free range eggs etc provided for breakfast. We were really happy. I work in the hospitality/accommodation industry and my expectations were greatly exceeded by the complete package on offer at Balingup Jalbrook Cottages.

WOW. Just beautiful and tranquil. Chalet was amazing and so clean. Jan had the fireplace lit and spa was pre warmed ready to jump in after our Perth drive. Gardens were kept so nice and we had birds visiting us daily. We are now trying to sort out dates when we can return. Jan thank you so much xx

Honeymooners escape we had the beautiful Ibis Chalet with stunning pink hues making this a very romantic getaway for us .. upon arriving our outdoor spa was heated & ready for us thanks to our wonderful host Jan who had everything perfect for our stay. After some quick insta snaps we had a nice bottle of Shiraz opened and into that spa to relax unwind listening to the sounds of the birds in the tree tops. Beautiful log fire roaring kept us warm as toast. Fantastic weekend away highly recommend staying here to get some fresh air therapy lots to see and do in the area ...we bought our food with us as the kitchen is well equipped to make your stay effortless. Having breakfast eggs and bacon out on your private deck in the morning sun watching the birds come in for the crumbs well it was hard having to pack up and go home ..

OMG. Simply amazing for that romantic getaway. This place has it all. From the spa the wood fire and the privacy... Definitely heading back

A beautiful, peaceful escape. The gardens are simply a slice of heaven. Our cottage overlooked a gorgeous pond. The myriad wildlife a treat for the senses. If you need an escape from the rat race, this is the slice of heaven to give you that. Turn your phones off. And simply enjoy. Thank you to our host Jan. Andrew & Colleen

The cottage was well appointed, clean and comfortable. The highlight was the private balcony and hottub which we made good use of! We could hear birds singing in the mornings and absolutely no other sounds (well, the occasional bleating of the alpacas). Jan was a fantastic host who really made us welcome (as well as her dog, Molly). Jan's suggestions were spot-on as we had arrived in Balingup without a plan of what to do. On our last day we looked around the grounds which Jan keeps beautifully.

Fantastic place and a great stay. It's also for sale and I hope whoever buys it keeps it running as well as it is currently.

Amazing romantic experience. Wood fires, and hot freshly baked bread dropped outside your door in the morning.

We had the pleasure of holding our wedding photos and reception picnic at Jalbrook Cottages. Prior to the day, Jan and Alan allowed us on the grounds several times to view the gorgeous grounds, were very communicative via email and text and went above and beyond to assist us in securing other local services required for our big day. As we were eloping, we didn't have an army of hands to assist us on our wedding day, they worked with our events company (Ferguson Events) to set up, packed everything up for us and worked with Ferguson Events to collect everything. Jalbrook Estate's grounds/gardens are magnificent and we can't recommend Jalbrook enough for a special event or getaway.

Amazingly presented accomodation nestled amongst the beautiful scenery that Balingup has to offer!

I stayed at Jalbrook estate years ago, it was soooo lovely, the estate is gorgeous and the rooms are immaculate. I would definitely recommend you see it for yourself, I can't wait to go and stay again.
