This is a much delayed review, as I and my husband worked with Murphy on our vcat case around 2 years ago now. If I could, I would have given him and the team a 10-star review as they went above and beyond on our case with a very dodgy builder who ruined our first time built experience. But thanks to the team, we won the case in the first Vcat session, and the builder was fined 45k! We’re now building with a very nice and professional builder and enjoying every bit of the journey. Highly recommend Cogent Legal. I have had a seemless experience. Murphy has been great to deal with, very professional, understanding, and gets the job done on time. He is absolutely the person you need on your side when you are dealing with legal matters.

I've been dealing with Murphy for a few years now. Him and his team (Adam also!) are good, hard working, and honest. They are "busy" but I would expect good people to be in high demand. They do follow up things, and are proactive. Over the years, they have recovered monies from people for me, and others I've recommended to them, from those who just don't want to pay. As a legal firm, they are not expensive. I have, and would recommend them to anyone, and I feel like they actually "have my back" rather than me just being another client.

Overall, good service, knowledgeable and proactive- and will get into the ring, and fight for you! What more could one ask for?

I had the pleasure of working with both Murphy and Paula, both of whom were absolutely fantastic. For the particulars of my situation, I was very nervous, stressed and unknowledgeable in the area of interest, and both Murphy and Paula were fantastic at explaining everything in both legal and layman’s terms, put up with the countless nervous emails/texts/calls I bombarded them with, and ultimately got me the end result that I was after in a very timely way.
