Avoca Hill Bookstore

Very pretty shop with a lovely collection of books. Went there to collect a book and asked for some recommendations; the lady was very sweet and insightful and gave me some great books which I look forward to reading! Will be back for more!!

Got to like a book store that's open on a Sunday. The staff are helpful. If the book is not on the shelves, they will order it in. You can find on trend fiction, plus quite a range of lifestyle and travel books. Their children's books are terrific. If you are shopping for gifts, there are beautiful cards and wrapping paper available.

What an incredible little gem on Toorak road! I love coming into Avoca Hill! The energy and warmth when you walk in is undescribable. Everyone who works there goes out of their way to help you. If they don’t have the book they will make sure to order it in for you and will always recommend any other fantastic books they think you may like!! They spend a lot of time with you asking questions to help them find exactly what your looking for.
I want to thank Lisa as she has always gone above and beyond for me! She has incredible customer service!!

Excellect range of books. Though I didn't buy the manager gave his attention to all customers. Good old fashioned service. Not often given these days. As well as knowing bks and people.

Really nice to see a proper bookshop with great, intelligent selection of books and items like fountain pens, cool accessories - highly recommend a browse in here. It's on my walk home to the train station - fatal :)
