Newborough parkrun

Awesome parkrun to visit! The course starts at the local Botanic Gardens and and it's mostly along the rail trail. It's a two lap 'out and back' on clay type terrain, lots of trees and friendly people.

I liked that the turn around sign/cones were easy to see.

If there were more stars, I'd give them. Really friendly volunteers, lovely gardens, access to toilets and bubblers, undercover area at the start. It's a railtrail so it can be uneven but it's quite sheltered from the weather and worth a visit.

A great friendly parkrun

The crème de la crème of Gippsland's Parkruns.

The view from the parkrun route is fairly limited due to talk trees on both sides. However the volunteers are friendly and it's a smaller group of runners here compared to many others we have been to. This may be attractive to some runners.
The top half of the routine has a lot of gravel and may not be ideal for runners seeking the most even surface, but it's considered acceptable.
