Dan Murphy's Alphington

The Alphington Dan’s is one of the best and a great experience. It was a joy to come here during lockdowns. You can recharge electric cars here and staff are really friendly and helpful. Prices remain excellent and their range is extraordinarily good. I might like more gadgets and gifts to be available.

I used the Click and Collect option to pre-order on the website and it worked like a dream, they loaded the box into the boot and I didn't even need to get out of the car. It's really great when those services work smoothly.

This is an epic store for local products. They have an awesome setup of Fizzer with different flavours. The beer selection is great with lots of local options. My favourite is Old Mate Pale Ale. The staff in the store are super helpful and have great knowledge. They always say hello and offer help. They have some great specials and offer a members discount on some products.

The parking here is great. I always get a car park. The click and collect option is sometimes helpful when I’m in a rush. I do prefer going into the store for the customer service.

Quite the incredible store, very clean and well set up. Car park is easy to access with plenty of parking. staff are really friendly and made my visit efficient and informative. Simon was fantastic with his product knowledge and customer service, he was very honest and really took the time to help me. Would happily drive the 40 minutes from my house just to buy from this store again

Staff are friendly and knowledge of stock is excellent. There is a large range of drinks. Layout of shop is easy to get around. Spirit Ranger is excellent. Rangers from average price bottles to high-end Scotch. There is a fantastic range and would likely be somerhing here for you.

Awesome place to get lost looking for that elusive bottle of booze. Usually have quite a number of varieties on special. Can always find great Whiskey varieties. The chilled beer carton section is just a super convenient idea.

I was looking for a gift for my dad for Christmas and one of the staff members gave me a great recommendation. My dad actually called me afterwards to ask if I picked it myself or if I had help because he liked it so much! It's not often you get such great service, so thank you!!

The guys in the wine section are very knowledgeable.. great service and one of the largest ranges I have seen.. no matter your choice of poison

So far as I know, this is the second Dan Murphys ever built after the original one in Prahran which opened sometime in the 1970s. Large store with a big carpark around the side and back of the building. All the usual products available. Staff, as usual, are friendly and courteous and know where specific products are when I've asked.
