South Yarra BMW Service Centre

I keep going back to BMW's Service team in South Yarra, as I am never dissappointed when I drive my car back home in the afternoon. The whole team are so dynamic and friendly from start; the moment I arrive to check in my car; to finish - when my car is ready for collection. And as always, a special shout out to Lauren who never fails to exceed expectations. Would never consider going anywhere else!

Everyone at South Yarra BMW Service was so helpful, so obliging, nothing was too much trouble. Service was perfect and they explained everything to me so I could make the decision of what issue was attended to or not. And that was ok too. My car came back beautifully cleaned and filled with petrol. I couldn’t believe the care and attention to the little details. No.1 in my book and I’ll be passing on these comments to all my friends…..

While driving during the heavy rains last Tuesday - my indicators would not work, the dash lighting was dim. I took it to BWM South at 4pm on Tuesday and Lily said they needed to do a Diagnostic for about $300 tomorrow. The car is 20 years old. No call received so I rang on Thursday afternoon and left a message for Lily. No call returned. Called into the dealership at 10.15an on Friday. FULL Diagnostic was done on Wednesday. They needed to order parts - takes 3 days It took me 45minutes to get my car and leave including a 4 minute chat with Lily with recommendations for repairs for $2,500 for a $10,000 car. And i needed to pay the $300 ! Went to BMW Brighton where it was fixed for total of $1300 Complained to the Head of Service who just shrugged his shoulders and said Sorry I have just moved back into the area but will give South Yarra BMW a wide berth - very poor service

We had our car serviced exclusively at the Prahran BMW service center. We spent over 6k on cylinder heads and valve stem seals after the car had just ticked over 55,000km. 2 years later I am having to replace the seals again that should last 10 years. If you like throwing money down the drain and paying for jobs that were never completed then this service center is for you.
