Incredible food. Very different brunch food - perfect if you are bored of the standard smashed avo and poached eggs. Fresh ingredients, so much flavour and lovely staff. Would recommend the eggplant toastie! Cold brew was flavoursome and turkish coffee was chocolatey.

Great atmosphere, delicious coffee, unique salad, a slightly higher price.

Mediterranean food is one of my favourite cuisines and Babajan is a lovely place to source it. I’ve only dined there during covid so I can’t vouch for their full menu, but their takeaway counter offerings are fresh and delicious. I particularly love the falafel roll and the roasted capsicum and potato salad (although all their salads are lovely). They also make a mean soy flat white. I can’t wait to visit again.

We went there having heard good things and it comfortably lived up to our expectations. Really interesting and different menu, amazing staff who helped us choose what to eat and terrific coffee (both espresso and cold drip). Their salads looked amazing for a takeaway lunch option as well!

The ezme was excellent. A little pricier than most cafes, but the flavour is in a whole other league. Impressive selection of pastries.

Absolutely delicious food as per usual. Eggplant Aleppo was 🔥🔥 and the rice pudding just delicious.

Great addition to the Nicholson Street shops - amazing coffee, amazing cakes and savoury bites, as well as delicious mains - most middle eastern or fusion - meaning there are really nice new flavours. Always very fresh, making food through the day.

The salads are amazing - I get them to go when going to a BBQ (better than I could ever make!)

I came here for a quiet Friday brunch with my wife. Absolutely fantastic. Very friendly staff who gave us water for our dog. Fantastic coffee and the food was amazing. I had the rice pudding (a weakness of mine) and loved it. Avoid this place if you have an issue with nuts (so many pistachio's and almonds) but really good.

Tasty traditional Turkish food with many healthy choices. The counter salads are a meal in themselves, especially with Turkish bread. The Turkish pastries are special, very sweet and often with nuts as an ingredient... OK, less healthy but difficult to resist. I have found the service and coffee very good. The cafe restaurant is small and can be noisy at busy times.

Fantastic brunch. Be warned: the servings are generous. You won’t leave hungry. And the taste is exceptional. Great value for money brunch. Staff were friendly and professional. They make a small space work very well, although it does fill up quickly.

Hands Down the best of the best breakfast first place ever. Despite my busy schedule I always find the time to get eat here. Flavorful Salad, Extraordinary menu, Delicious Eggplant Aleppo.

One of my favourite places. Amazing salads, delicious cabbage rolls and crab and haloumi omelette. The staff are fantastic. Free recipes via their email list. Would love a reason to order from their catering service.

Love this place and the food. Best and most memorable brunch cafe to pop up in the last few years serving up some unique Turkish inspired dishes with a seasonal menu. Owner Kirsty is really inspiring!

One of the best boutique Turkish cafe. Flavourfull and tasty.

One of the very few places in Melbourne that serves authentic Turkish home style food and modern cuisine with healthy options instead of the misrepresentation out there of kebab shops which does not represent what Turkish people eat. This place nails it and more. Everything from breakfast to lunch. the only issue with this place - its tiny - sits only around 20 people. You may get unlucky if doing a walk in. The owner needs to move into a bigger place or open another one. Come back and go through the entire menu - especially the salads!
