Best Thai food in Melbourne! If you looking for Authentic Thai outside of Thailand which are variety options from North Eastern and Thai popular street food so this is number choice I always recommended <3

And the service was excellent!

The restaurant was bustling when we visited, even on a late weekday night. The basil stir-fry with pork mince was a fantastic savory choice paired with steamed rice—always a favorite of mine. The Thai curry with vegetables, unlike the sweeter seasoning at some other places, leaned toward the salty side, which suited our taste much better. The beef gravy soup with rice noodles boasted a rich depth of flavor, and the beef was both juicy and tender. We're definitely going back to try out some other dishes next time.

When you see the restaurant from the outside, you wouldn’t expect the buzzing atmosphere awaiting inside. Without a doubt, it serves the best Thai food I've had outside of Thailand. The vibes make you feel like you're in the heart of Bangkok. This place is now my go-to whenever I miss Thailand. The Pad Thai was exceptional, a solid 12/10, and everything else was a straight 10!

What a truly authentic Thai restaurant! They have an incredible variety, especially their Somtam menu with over 10 choices. We had the Pad Thai, classic Somtam, steamed fish, and dessert. Everything was fantastic! Next time, I’m definitely trying stirred rice menu. The staff were super friendly and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Lovely!!

Great Thai food is available in Melbourne too. Tom Toon serves up authentic tastic Thai food with a wide ranging menu. The restaurant appears small in front but has much more seating room behind the front section as well as in the adjacent unit which they close on weekdays when the crowd volume is lower. We ordered the Signature Beef Noodle Gravy Soup with vermicelli, their fried rice, Tom Yum soup, spring roll with minced pork and BBQ chicken skewers. All the items tasted great although the Tom Yum soup should have been more spicy and sour, it might have been toned down to better suit local tastebuds. Still good nevertheless.

Hands down the best Thai restaurant ever! I’m not big on Thai food but this restaurant is phenomenal!! I absolutely LOVE the beef noodle soup here. The beef is soooo tender and the soup is so tasty!! The pad Thai was really enjoyable too. Fried chicken super crispy. Green curry so tasty too. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Value for money def there. I wish I had a massive tummy space to try all their dishes there. I could really eat here every week.

Everything was delicious, stand out was the green curry and crispy rice salad. Excited to try rest of the menu.

Best Thai restaurant in Melbourne! Food comes out quick, great portion size, authentic flavors.

The best Thai food I've ever eaten. It was great to be able to choose the level of spiciness. I want to go again soon.

This little place just outside Melbourne city had some delightful dishes and the service was great and staff very friendly.

My friend bought me to there on her birthday. It’s her favorite Thai restaurant and now It’s my one too! The food was really good and cheap price. Very authentic papaya salad! Always busy but worth to try if you love Thai food!

My girlfriend fainted here and all the staff were so loving and helpful. There seemed to be a real sense of community and love amongst the staff, which translated onto us. The food was amazing as well! Highly recommend.

Today, my friend brought me to this Thai restaurant for lunch. She said the Thai food here is very authentic and insisted on bringing me here to try it out. We both ordered Tom Yum soup noodles and a plate of Thai-style salad, and they were both delicious. Especially the Thai-style salad, the green papaya was crisp, the shrimp was very fresh, and the marinated crab was delightful. The sauce was also very tasty. I noticed that the table next to us ordered some grilled skewers, and it looked quite good too. I’ll definitely try them next time. What impressed me the most was the attitude of their staff. Throughout the whole dining experience, they were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. What touched me the most was when I accidentally left my jacket behind as we were leaving the restaurant. My friend and I were already in her car when a staff member came out holding my jacket, searching for us. It was truly an incredible feeling. This restaurant’s food and service have now earned the top spot in my heart. I will definitely come again!

Great place for an Authentic Thai food. The place is quite busy during our visit. It has great atmosphere. The waitress are very polite, attending to our needs, even asking whether we need some bowls to share the dishes, or for the kids to ensure everyone was looked after.
The dishes comes pretty quick too and taste pretty good. I always love the spiciness in Thai food and you can request how spicy you wanted it to be. I would highly recommend the som tam (papaya salad), Spicy minced meat with basil leaves. The deep fried fish is also amazing.

I’ve heard the reputation of this restaurant that serve authentic thai food and we proved it right.
Their papaya salad came out with rich flavour and refreshing. I had with squid and prawn and mild spicy level flavor. It was delicious and satisfying.
Their soup boat noodle highlights savoury, sweet and salty flavor which we had a amazing a bowl of noodle. That’s a FIVE stars!
Their prawn roll as a side dish was came out okay. The texture of skin roll was not too crispy (which i hoped so!) but the prawn came out fresh. It was a good bite food.
Their grilled pork neck was delicious. I would definitely back for that dish next time.
My friend said that the thai milk tea taste too sweet and ended up add more water and didn’t finish it.
Overall experience, it was a great one and we are agree that the food quality was amazing!

Absolutely some of the best Thai food I had so far in the world, even better than many restaurants in Thailand.
Genuine food, top quality ingredients and very generous portions.
The environment maybe is not so fancy but very familiar, warm and welcoming.

Supposedly not the best Thai food in Melbourne, but it’s owned by a friend’s friend so I had to try. Amazing Thai decor!

Food quality:
+ Fantastic authentic Thai dishes, couldn’t tell difference with what’s served back in Thailand!
+ Thai milk tea is authentic though a little sweet, suggest to add water in to dilute it.
+ Pork bone are crispy and tasty, with no pork taste that would put people who choose not to eat pork off.
+ Tom Krong is very delicious, but beware the after taste as it gets spicy over time!
+ Sticky rice tastes exactly like what served in Asia, best eaten warm, otherwise harden when cold.

Food portion / Price:
+ Reasonable portions, and as with most Asian food suitable for sharing.

Service:
+ Friendly and attentive. Wick to serve after putting our orders through.

Crowd:
Make reservation especially on weekends. Tend to be full or almost full!

Payment:
Cards or cash accepted.

Great Thai food - recommend the Kwei teow Tom yum for a spicy kick, pad Thai is delicious, pork skewers also.

These guys are great and they have some if the best Thai food in the city. The food is generally very good. It's the closest Thai place to me and I'm there a fair bit now. Their service is friendly and I know it's a little thing, but as an Isaan food lover, their sticky rice is the best.

Admittedly, some dishes could have some extra ingredients in, but overall I find the food here very good. My favourite dishes have been the som tam with pork neck, pork larb and the nam tok with beef or pork neck. Everything is flavourful, fresh and delicious and the portions are fair too.

The seasoning is good, meats are good quality. Salads are mg favourite and they contain all the usual ingredients like toasted sticky rice, lime juice, coriander, makrut lime etc. Pretty legit food for Australian standards. The Aussies seem to prefer the place around the corner. Thai style is my style, though.

It's packed with Thai people which is always a good sign, they sell Isaan and Central Thai dishes mostly. The Yum Salads look excellent and I'll probably try those next.
