Lucky me, I stumbled across Montal Jewelers when chatting to my daughter-in-law, and was so glad that I did. I found Chris, the jeweler, to be extremely talented in his field, with a wonderful eye for detail and creativity. I had various pieces of jewelry remade and was thrilled with the end result.

I had the pleasure of dealing with Chris and the team at Montal for a few pieces in need of resizing and resetting. I had a pair of stud earrings that I was unable to wear, due to persistent skin irritation. Chris reset them and I've had no skin issues since! I'm very happy about that! Always such friendly and accommodating service. It's great to support local business. Chris is knowledgeable and goes the extra mile with things like a ring clean and polish, which is always appreciated! Highly recommended.

We reached out to Chris after a lot of research, looking to have my engagement ring remade. Chris was prompt and lovely to deal with. He sat down with us to discuss our vision and we instantly felt that he was on the same page. He took his time to listen to what we wanted (and didn't want) and the finished product is even better than I had imagined! He had no problem with us providing our own stone, and was quite happy to accommodate my request of having the setting made in unplated white gold. Chris used Palladium white gold, which is a beautiful white color even without the usual rhodium plating!

At no point did we feel pressured, and the whole process was transparent. We were not charged a cent more than originally quoted, and we were given an independent valuation of the ring as well. Chris' work is very reasonably priced, especially given the high quality of his pieces and that they are handmade. We have been blown away, and I have no doubt my ring has been made to last a lifetime. We could not be more grateful - thank you Chris!

I had the unfortunate situation of needing my wedding and engagement rings cut off in an emergency room (fat fingers!) and Chris was fantastic at the repair work! Both rings were resized, reassembled and even remodeled (with diamonds added to the engagement ring setting 💍)
The work was flawless! You would never know they had been cut in half! The turn around time was amazing and the customer service second to none!

Chris was helpful with the selection of the piece and the quality of the work is always first class. Over the years we have purchased several shop pieces from Montal and have also had several bespoke pieces made by Chris- this process was exciting and Chris delivered exactly what we were after. I took some bits and pieces of inherited jewellery to Montal for advice about what was of value and what was costume jewellery. I had a wonderful experience and was given excellent advice. I ended up selling some little, unwanted gold items to Montal. Using the proceeds of the gold sale, Chris and Megan designed and made beautiful, bespoke earrings and a pendant using stones from the old pieces.
I am so thrilled with the outcome and so grateful for their helpfulness, creativity and expertise.

Having just picked-up my mother's ring, which I had left with Montal Jewellers for resizing, I feel compelled to comment on how pleasant it is to deal with Montal. The staff are always courteous and patient and they make every visit a very pleasant experience.

Nothing was too hard for them, they sourced the perfect Spinels and sat down with us to discuss the options on how to construct the ring to make our design work.
