I felt on holiday despite of the cloudy weather we had heaps of fun kayaking around the wreck. For roughly 40 minutes I was in awe of the array of fish scattered throughout the wrecks. We pic nicnon the beach and chilled at the coffee shop ... Easy, good, great.

Kayak, sand sledding and snorkeling with my son was excellent. The weather was really hot in Feb, but I would suggest you try sand sledding. You will get amazing picture in your life. Photographer Kim was great!
Don't forget snorkeling. Our team leader, instructor, Isabel who was awesome to lead us. Even it was really scary to get into the sea, she led us well. Really thanks to her.

Moreton Island is amazing honestly! A tad expensive though, but that's a good thing actually. Keeps everything under good control so the place can stay nice.

Not being certified divers my wife and I were lucky to have a go at the he introductory dive course followed by a dive through the Tangalooma Wrecks at Moreton Island. Our instructor Sandy was a very friendly and patient teacher and I felt comfortable with the wealth of knowledge he passed on. We did a pool dive first then a questionnaire and later that day we again suited up and dived through the wrecks. Despite the strong winds and bad weather it was totally worth it. For roughy 40 minutes I was in awe of the array of corals and fish scattered throughout the wrecks. The unfortunate thing was that my wife had difficulty with her eardrums, after trying several times to equalise her ears she decided to snorkel instead. Sandy tried to help her out but she was just happy to snorkel and watch us from above. The dive time passed super quickly which was the worst thing.

We loved Moreton Island. Spent a day in with walk to sand dunes, snorkelling in the wreck and dolphin feeding.

Awesome place to visit and stay.
Staff were fabulous.
Only thing I didn't like was the bed in Beach lodge they were just to hard and my back didn't like was till they put topper on the bed it was find all though I like my own pillow.
High light of the trip was the whale watching from the jet boat.
Also Southern Safari trip amazing, still heaps other things to do eg Quad bikes. Which I didn't do.
Fire and Stone restaurant is one my favourite places to go have a meal in evening.

The wrecks are amazing to explore. If you want to rent the kayaks from opposite the wrecks you can only pay online.

This isn't just an island, nor just a resort. This is where many American kids' dreams were formed just by watching the iconic Scooby-Doo live-action 2002 film in which this island was called "Spooky Island". I've never been here in person, yet it lives on in my memory.

Had a great SCBA dive at the wrecks. Very well organised, Sandy looked after us very well, so did Kelly and the newcomer Christin. Highly recommended, the variety of fish is amazing.

Had a sweet time diving the wrecks with Sandy. And a breezy time renting some paddle boards to check out the sand bar! Got to see tons of marine life a long the wrecks and even a massive sea turtle out by the sand bar.

SEA SCOOTERS = NEXT LEVEL SNORKELING!!!! I am absolutely BUZZING after our sea scooter snorkelling tour!!! I felt like I was in James Bond x A Little Mermaid. Honestly, put it on your bucket list! Thank you Brad from Tanga Tours for the recommendation - you're a legend!!!

The tanga tours team were incredibly friendly and approachable, check in was seamless and we were introduced to our guide Luke. We were provided with our equipment and given a briefing. Luke accompanied us onto the boat which dropped us off at the reef. A huge thank you to Luke and the team for a MIND BLOWING snorkel tour.

After lunch we hired stand up paddle boards and played around in the ocean. We're now on the ferry home and I'm planning my next trip!!!

Thank you to the amazing tanga tours team for an unforgettable day - we will be black!!
