Pomonal Cottages Grampians

Great place to stay with family and the kangaroos come right up to the back door. Bedding and cottages are very clean and comfortable. The kitchenette was nice for staying in or there was a Pub just at the end of the driveway that does good meals. There is a rec room with all sorts of sports and the pool is great to relax in the afternoon. The new owners are really nice and were very accommodating to our needs. Will stay again, for sure!

Fantastic location. Really spacious, great water pressure in the shower. WiFi was strong and fast. Common area had nice pool, pool table and table tennis. Big BBQ, library of DVDs to borrow. And the couple who run it are super nice and helpful. Big thumbs up from us!

Highly recommend for families with young children. We had the best time. Our kids and ourselves had a very relaxing holidays with lots of nature walks and the best part was it is very close to hall gap so best place for people who want to stay away from the crowd yet close to town.
Hope to visit this place soon again💕💕

What amazing hosts. Fee & Gary. Made us feel most welcome. No request was to hard. Super friendly, very helpful and so knowledgeable of the area. This is our new favourite holiday destination cottage. Quiet, picturesque and most importantly relaxing. Very reasonably priced for the area.

Beautiful, tranquil and relaxing place at the doorsteps of Grampians. Fantastic hosts Fee and Gary made us feel like home here and where very helpful with tips on what to see. Great pool and plenty of things to do. Cottages are fully equipped and very clean. Can’t wait to stay there again .

Absolutely stunning weekend away. We highly recommend the glamping tent. The hosts Gary & Fee were very accommodating and have immense knowledge of the region. They advised us of so many places to visit - it's a shame we didn't get a chance to stay longer, there are still so many places we want to see.
The grounds were very clean and kept well.
The scenery was very relaxing and calm and the perfect place to get away and unwind.
Not to mention - the bathroom for our glamping tent was that of a 5 star hotel!
We will definitely be going back for another stay!

It was so relaxing and peaceful. A great spot to explore the area and be away from the hustle and bustle. We loved the treasure hunt and the incredible wildlife at our doorstep. The pool was fantastic too. A great family holiday. Thank you Fee and Gary!!

We had a wonderful long weekend at Pomonal Cottages. Fee and Gary were absolutely lovely and we felt like it was a home away from home right from the start. The pool was perfect for the hot days and the setting is as Australian as it gets with kangaroos and birds visiting daily. The Cottages are well equipped. We walked to the Pomonal Store for coffees and supplies...also had a lovely dinner at Barney's at the end of the driveway. We cannot wait to return!

We picked the glamping option, it was our first time doing this and it was awesome! All the fun of camping with the comfort of a house/room. Super comfy, warm, tidy, fun and a affordable! Outdoor area with bbq, chairs, table. Basic kitchen supplies, kettle, fridge, glasses, tea, coffee, sugar. Everything you need!
The Swimming pool is really good and the are attached to it as well. There’s a ping pong table, pacman arcade, books, etc.
100% recommend. We had an amazing time and will definitely come back

Our 3rd trip to the Grampians and our first stay at Pomonal Cottages.
We stayed in Cottage #6 which is located down the far end of the group. This is a lovely quiet location, friendly hosts, and super clean, well equipped cottages...we were really impressed with how nicely presented the place was and Barney's Bar was a good recommendation for dinner...thanks Fee and Gary for your hospitality : )

We just spent 5 nights here, our 5th or 6th Easter, and always love the experience. The cottages are clean, there's great rural views and the resort like pool and games room are a standout feature. Fee and Gary are the friendliest hosts and being experienced walkers/hikers, know all the less busy walks and sights in the Grampians. An added bonus is the walking distance to Barney's Bistro for good country meals and hospitality and the Pomonal General Store for the best coffee and essential items. There's plenty of other activities on offer nearby too. Wineries, olive farm, artists and makers, a zoo, markets and Lake Fyans to name a few. We look forward to going back next Easter and coming in Spring for the wildflowers. Thanks again Fee and Gary. Cheers, Chris

Great location, cabins and the owners and Fee and Gary were fantastic.
Barneys Bar, Pomonal Estate, great local shop all there and only a 10 minute drive to Halls Gap.
Do yourself favour . . .

If you are looking for a low key place to stay, away from the hoarders in Halls Gap, Garry & Fee have you covered! Cottages are a tiny bit dated but clean and well kept. Having just taken over recently these guys are making improvements every day and seriously will trip over themselves to make your stay is a comfortable one. Set on a large property, everything you need to be self contained in the Grampians is here.

Lovely and chilled out owners. Huge space for kids to run around in. Kangaroos abound. Outdoor fire space. The general store is just 10 minute walk across the road and is well stocked with good stuff - including frozen home made meals.

We were a group of 5 people and stayed in cottage number 7. This cottage is close to the recreation area (with a pool, table tennis and sitting area) and also close to the grassland, where you can see every day lots of kangaroos, parrots and more. We all loved to be that close to the local wildlife. The cottage itself is well maintained, clean, big and you instantly feel comfortable. The Wi-Fi needs to be optimized as we all had problems to get a stable connection, but the owners were also helpful here. I recommend cottage 7 for families or groups of up to 8 people where the focus is on hiking and wildlife.

Not ultraflash but modern very comfortable accommodation and well maintained and appointed and easy to live in. Owners are really helpful. Lots of resources like playground and pool and rec room and a fire area if you want to sit out side around a fire. Our cottage had slow combustion fire too with wood and kindling ready to go. Also had RC aircon.

The location is great for exploring Grampians by car. Close enough to be convenient but far enough away to avoid the hustle and bustle of Halls Gap.

Perfect cosy getaway. The cottage was so comfortable and had everything we need. The location is perfect! Close to a lovely winery and not far from all of the beautiful hiking spots. I think it is the perfect location if you want some peace and quiet but still not far from everything. Such a cosy place and has evertyhing you need to cook! Don't need tv but there is a dvd library at the rec room if you want. And some games. I wpuld reccomend this to any one wishing to visit the Grampians. Families or couples 👍also it was so nice to see the kangaroos outside.

Great getaway outside the Halls Gap crowds - spacious rooms, great facilities and fabulous pool to relax by. Walking distance to the General store at Pomonal and Barney's Bistro and bar - a fabulous place to spend a few days!!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Great cottages and very peaceful surroundings. Very close to the Grampians and the zoo. The kids loved waking up and seeing the kangaroos in the morning!

Pomonal Cottages has recently changed owners - the new owners have an experienced background in accommodation management. My stay was very comfortable and enjoyable. I enjoyed my b'fast coffee watching the roos and the views of the Grampians. I found the Cottages to be close to other facilities and I hope to return.
