Tataki Japanese Restaurant

Staff were great, food was delicious and they were very accomodating of young children. We had several entrees to share, followed by lots of main dishes. We were all definitely full, and each dish was plentiful with decent portions and good quality. Would definitely recommend.

Everything about this place was amazing, tried a few different things and all beautiful, staff was kind and actually seemed to care about what the customers thought. Very relaxed and even romantic atmosphere. Cannot recommend enough

Absolutely fabulous food. Entrees were miso soup, gyoza (pork & vegetable), Yaki tori followed by shared mains of charcoal duck breast, spicy calamari, pork shokayaki, beef teppanyaki and rice...all tender and mouthwateringly delicious.
Staff were so friendly and helpful. We were a group of 9 there for a birthday so booked the function room in the back area.

It has great food at reasonable prices. We had a birthday there and we ordered heaps of dishes & per person it was 30 dollars a head. Staff are friendly & organised.

My favourite Japanese restaurant in Melbourne, with excellent takeaway as well as table service, delicious sushi and sashimi and other menu options. Children are welcome and will enjoy their time here - an excellent local restaurant. They also serve Kirin Ichiban, my favourite Japanese beer.

Great food and service. The sashimi was freshly prepared and tasted delicious. Every item we order was fantastic and the sake was great too! Will definitely be back.

One of our favourite local restaurants that never disappoints. Terrific Sushi and Sashimi, signature Tataki Duck and the kids always love the Katsu.

I loved the quality food. The large sushi platter was a great spread. I would recommend the takoyaki. The staff here are very friendly and the service is good.

Absolutely love the food, and service is quick and friendly. The building could probably do with a freshen up but when the food is this good who cares.

Excellent restaurant, took my son here several years ago in order to complete a homework assignment "order a meal in Japanese" and have eaten there regularly ever since.

A pleasant Japanese with home style cooking. The chef has become a touch adventurous and is experimenting with Izakaya style dishes and is making things interesting.
