I have been coming to this place for 2 years now. They are incredibly meticulous and consistent. The first time I came here they really improved the look of my beard in particular and I’ve been satisfied with every haircut since. Wait times are usually low and I always feel like they put in a lot of effort. I wouldn’t even consider going elsewhere.

I've been coming here since I moved into the local area in 2018 and have been coming back since despite moving to another suburb. They are always professional and cut hair just the way you ask it. Can't recommend more! Just recently Ash cut my lockdown hair disaster to a lovely hairstyle.

One of the best cuts I’ve had. Didn’t catch the barbers name but he was meticulous, and spent a long time perfecting my fade. Definitely recommend coming here

Very talented barbers. These guys do an awesome fade, and great haircuts in general. Very precise shaves and cuts, super neat lines. I always walk out feeling great and like they listened to what I wanted from my haircut. The guys are always friendly and up for a chat and make me feel welcome. I'm over all a very chilled person but I'm very specific about my hair and beard, Zac at PHD Barbers is honestly one of the only barbers I would get my hair done from, because he dosent just give a great hair and beard cut, he also gives a great service. Zac and all staff members are very friendly and the atmosphere in the place is great, this truly is one of my favorite Barbers.

These guys do an awesome fade. Really friendly and professional, welcoming and hospitable - very relaxing getting your hair cut here, there is no pressure to chat making for an excellent experience. These are humble guys who are truly artists at their craft. Been hear many times without a booking and they always fit you in. The new spot for me. 10/10.

The first time I visited, I was pleasantly surprised with the speed and skill of the cut! It was one of the quickest haircuts I've had yet, but on top of that, it looked excellent! Their barbers are very skilled and easy-going. I have since been back a few times and plan to continue going.

Best barber in Camberwell bar none. All these negative 1 star reviews are clearly a very jealous competitor of a business that is well run and staff are always extremely friendly/do anything they can to go above and beyond. Give them a shout if your regular isn't 'cutting it'.

First time coming here. Zack was the guy who cut my hair. He is also the owner. He did an awesome job, and treated me really well. He is super friendly and great at what he does. My housemate has been going here every month for ages and has nothing but good things to say. I can see why. Definitely recommend!

I have been to PHD Barbers 3 times and I have received quality fad cut everytime. Highly recommended. Ash is very professional, understands the kind of style you are after and delivers a top cut with fade or beard.

Visited PHD barbers for both my sons and my husband. Professional, hygienic and what an amazing team. I’ll just say that the men know their craft and exactly what they are doing!

I am sad to see they've recently stopped offering their student discount, but in all other respects I highly recommend these guys. They know their stuff and do it to a high standard and very efficiently--I've been in and out in the space of 15 minutes on a couple occasions. They also ask about the small things instead of assuming (e.g. temples squared or left natural).

Great barbershop! Fourth cut in, I can honestly say barbers are consistently friendly and the shop has a great vibe. Sam is an absolute gun. Very meticulous, actually listens to the customer and I never feel rushed. Great location with ample parking in side streets. Will be coming back here regularly.
