Excellent fish and chips. Crispy batter, fresh fish, chips on point - fresh and crisp without the stodgy feeling you often get at other fish and chip shops. Even the left overs weren’t bad when warmed up the next day!

I've visited many fish & chip shops in Melbourne, but this place truly stands out.

The fish is fresh and perfectly cooked, with a crispy, golden batter, while the chips are thick-cut and deliciously crunchy.

The service is outstanding, making you feel welcome from the moment you step in. Highly recommend for anyone seeking top-notch fish & chips!

Arthur is the fish and chip,souvlaki and burger master.
There are probably half a dozen fish and chip shops closer to me but it's my first choice any day.

They promised the best fish and boy did they deliver. Probably the tastiest fish I have ever had. Chips perfectly cooked too. Bravo. Price was excellent value to boot.

Great take away option with spacious inside dinning a great drink selection or outside dining with a sun drenched afternoon aspect, the well stocked bottle shop next door makes up for the busy traffic when enjoying a relaxed afternoon lunch.

Excellent hamburger with the lot, everything was fresh and tasty, the meat is nicely seasoned. chips were fresh and crispy/fluffy. good size servings. Friendly service. Ticks all the boxes for a quality Fish and chip shop.

Best in Melbourne. Fresh fish thick fillets. Perfect crisp batter. Hand cut calamari’s battered, juicy scallops, perfect cinnamon and sugar dusted pineapple fritters to finish.

Hard to find a good fish n chips spot in the area until I stumbled upon Arthur’s. Top notch quality Aussie style fish and chips, flake very tender and fresh, batter is perfect balance of crispy and soft, prawns are good too, the chips are cooked just right with perfect amount of salt. And prices very reasonable so very good value. I will def be back here on regular basis.

Tried Arthur’s Fish and Chips because of the good reviews. Glad I did. Got the fish (flake) with small chips pack. Fish was excellent. Tender, sweet and perfectly fried (batter was crispy but not hard and not too thick). Chips were tasty and a good sized serving for one. Highly recommended.

I recently found Arthur's fish and chips and have been there several times now. Arthur makes a really nice burger, Nick always has generous size fish and there food is super fresh and very tasty. The prices are quite fair in this redicilous Inflation. All the people Arthur, Nick, manola and Gabby are all wonderful and like to ha è a chat. Highly recommend them.

Best fish & chip place in area….it’s just like the fish & chips I got as a kid. Arthur’s prices are fair but it’s what you get that counts. Never to oily….got crunch but not over cooked and he’s happy to take phone orders so there is no waiting.

The staff was friendly and the environment was clean and uncluttered compared to other f&c shops.

The chips were decent and fit their price right. The fried dim sim was tasty but the potato cake can be cooked a bit better.

Overall, an excellent fish and chips shop.

This place has recently come under new management and is once again a great fish and chip shop. Very friendly helpful staff, very clean and I guess most importantly really good quality fish and chips and reasonably priced. We had a family pack, fish, chips, potato cakes, dim Sims and a very freshly made Greek salad. Everything was very good. The only down side I foresee is that once word gets around it will require us to phone ahead first to avoid the queues and wait. Old School fish and chips. Would recomend anything from them . Hamburgers cooked to your way , Fish is good size and well cooked. Chips are proper fish and chips ,same with potato cakes. None of those pre packaged frozen potato cakes . ( best hangover food :) )
