Excellent fusion dishes and great service. Highly recommend this place. Truffle pasta, truffle fried rice , Borscht soup, French cubes, cheese cake …..all are super delicious!

So glad to have found this place! Great coffee (including decaf), and both the veg big brekkie and parma were delicious.

Each item in the big brekkie was prepared with care, and it came together perfectly. As for the parma, the first bite was very telling this piece of chicken was different. Turns out, the chicken is hand-cut and crumbed; the result spoke for itself! So good. Unfortunately, there’s no option to select this as a recommended dish below, but it definitely is worth trying.

The owner is friendly and personable, and the café is nice and cosy. We were a bit early for the cheesecake, so will have to return for that next time!

First visit to Salted Caramel Cafe, I had some fruit toast which was crunchy and soft with a good mix of fruits and some nuts. The coffee was very good, the service was great. Would definitely come again.

Salted caramel serve excellent food and is child friendly. We love going there for brunch and a play. The owners are also super friendly, hardworking and accommodating!
I highly recommend their chicken and mushroom truffle pasta. My 2 year old loves it!

Truffle fried rice, truffle scrambled eggs and truffle pasta are so rich in flavor and high quality. Portion is so generous and price is reasonable. Coffee is great too. The menu has a good variety of Western and Asian dishes. The homemade cake are also impressive. The courtyard is kids friendly and good for private party. Good experience overall. Will go back to try other dishes!.

We had a lovely lunch at this humble but friendly cafe.
The service was excellent. Ken made it very special when he brought out a piece of fresh Japanese cheese cake with a lit candle for my dear friend's birthday celebration. The food was delicious and the atmosphere quiet, pleasant and private as we sat upstairs.

A lovely local fusion experience. The menu is well thought of with details to enhance the Korean or Japan flavours into modern western style food. Coffee needs to be served faster but the quality is there. Definitely try their single origin.

Great venue for small private functions. We hosted a birthday party with young children and they enjoyed the dedicated play area. Food and drinks were nice and reasonably priced. The owner/manager was easy to deal with.

The owners are very dedicated to serve quality food without compromise, and they make it. Not only the taste, they also ensured the servings arrived your desk at the right temperature. Enjoyed every visit.

Love coming here with the toddler. The children's play area keeps the kids happy, the hot chocolate is always a winner, and when we do have food the truffle mushroom pasta and the poke bowls are the best.

Great Cafe with a nice space for private events upstairs. Service was great, and food, fresh juices and coffee were all good too.

Hidden gem in Templestowe serves the best Chicken Parma I’ve had. No fancy sauces or toppings, just prepared with care by owners who respects the ingredients as much as their customers. Well done.

Our first time trying. Loved the homely ambience. Ordered smoked salmon and Veggie Brekkie. Smoked salmon was divine. Veggie Brekkie was super tasty. Halloumi was perfectly balanced with sourdough from Wood Frog. Scrambled eggs perfectly done and without butter! Chef also came over to our table for feedback. Such a great touch!

Great place for good coffee, fresh chai lattes and freshly made food (good food need time to make!). And up the stairs they have a wonderful play area for little ones and a comfortable area for parents. Young parents would appreciate this space so much!

Some of the mediocre food reviews floating about are unwarranted. I've been here 3 times now and I have nothing but good things to say. Excellent choice if you are with kids, it has a dedicated play area with tables within arms reach so you can steal a few moments to yourself while your little one is entertained.

Had a great kid’s party her. Food was great. Service was professional and their kid’s area is fantastic.
